The winter season is always a tough one in the mid Atlantic. Team Hogan has been knocking on the door with many seconds and thirds while waiting for the elusive “Win”. Well it’s that time of the year. Springtime in Jersey! W J Hogan Racing is opening the eastern branch at Monmouth Park for the summer season. We welcome a new member to help guide our stable, Nicole Raker. Nicole comes with 20 plus years of thoroughbred racing experience. This year the team will be split between Parx and Monmouth Park, with Fernando and Cynthia celebrating their 7th year as the leadership team of Hogan Racing this year running division Parx. We will racing at both tracks and will bring along the juvenile runners that are sent to us from Santa Ana Racing stable a newly formed partnership of well bred young horses in both pin-hook and racing. We can help you get into the ‘game’ and have fun, on your own or with a group of friends. Claim, buy or breed your own racehorse team. It doesn’t have to cost you a kings ransom. Whether you race $5000 claiming horses or $500,000 stake horses, the thrill is the same. We can show you how to have fun and cheer your own team. January is in the books for us at Parx. Still “knocking” at the win door but we’re 48% in the money so far. Looking forward to the year as we have a barn full of runners, and the promise of more 2year olds to compliment our roster. Still working on partnerships just want to make them “right” so all can have fun, and maybe even make a little money! Watch for news of winners, runners and prospects. Good Luck to all.

Merry Christmas to all. Having said that, our horses are getting ready to end the year with a bang, and start the year with a sprint. Five runners will take to the track the week after Christmas starting with Relishment on Monday. He’s in a salty starter allowance but is second start off a foot injury. On Wednesday the team takes on the Parx end of year allowance and stakes races. More to come. With 2022 knocking on the door, plan your racing year and join us at Parx or plan on coming with us to Monmputh Park this summer. As we did last year, we will have 2YO’s available, or bring us your horses to run with us.

Launching a couple different partnerships for 2YO’s and a micro partnership for 4 yearlings. DM me for particulars and the horses that are included in these partnerships. The 2YO’s include Dadashev ( by Keen Ice)and Throwing Stars (by First Samurai). Both have at least one race and are going to be scheduled to race again soon. The value of the shares will depend on the outcome of the upcoming races. Get in on the ground floor as we are expecting BIG things from these freshman. Personalized shares are possible. our goal is to share the fun of Horse racing, companionship with like minded fans and maybe even make a profit. Back stretch access and saddling area are all intended, as well as winner circle pictures and luncheons. Join the fun.

Heading to the races with one of our most promising 2YO’s at Monmouth Park on Friday in Race 4. Just Jeremy finished 4th last time out in the same MSW but only 2 lengths separated him from the winner. Ferrin Peterson will be in the saddle for this future winner by Bustin Stones. Shares in him will be available soon so you might want to look him up and follow us on Friday in the early post time of 4:24 race 4. Come on out and say, “Hi!”.

This weekend starts the 2YO season for Team Hogan. “Just Jeremy” starts in the 6th race on Sunday against a salty group of young Colts. Teaming up with BL Transport, Bill Hogan sends out the son of Bustin Stones to carry the hopes of our team after the prep work and conditioning the crew has done. Watch for the rest of our young protégés, by stallions like First Samurai, Jump Start, Northern Afleet and others. If you have any interest in partnerships or ownership of these or any other horses we may represent PM or call Bill Hogan.
Watch for our team and wish us luck this season at Monmouth or any other track we may travel to.
