Located in the Healthy Living Center upstairs.

Position three: Sled Drive Sled Drive position is perfect for high intensity intervals as it engages the core muscles and begins to recruit the upper body muscles groups as well. Users will raise their heart rate quicker than the stand-up positions. Engage core muscles and really feel the intensity....

What an inspiring evening at the Y as we hosted a Send-Off Reception for our Special Olympics athletes heading to the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games, June 20–26!

We were honored to celebrate these outstanding athletes, along with their coaches and families, and recognize the dedication, perseverance, and hard work that earned them a place on Team Rhode Island. Best of luck to our Sharks, Ian and Shaun. As well as Coach Jordan Glenning for being selected to coach the RI Swim Team.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to cheer them on and show their support. The energy, encouragement, and community spirit on display were truly special.

We wish our athletes the very best as they compete on the national stage. Your Y family is proud of you and will be cheering you on every step of the way!
