⭐ RKFIT SPOTLIGHT SATURDAY ⭐
This week, we’re shining the spotlight on an incredible member whose story is such a beautiful reminder that fitness is about so much more than a number on the scale. 🧡💪
Meet Branin Delaney!
After losing her husband and finding herself living alone, Branin began looking at fitness differently. Exercise was no longer something she wanted to do simply to “get smaller.” She wanted to feel strong, capable, independent, and confident as she gets older.
And for almost TWO YEARS, she has continued to show up. 👏
Even on the days she’s tired.
Even when motivation is nowhere to be found.
Even when all she has to give is the bare minimum.
Because as she says…
“Some days the victory isn’t crushing the workout. It is simply walking through the door.” 🧡
Her favorite place to do just that? Whitney’s 4:30 Circuit Class! 🙌🏻
And she definitely doesn’t do it alone! Her cousin and workout bestie, Steph, is her biggest cheerleader, accountability partner, and the person who “guilts her just enough” to get off the couch and into the gym. 😂🩷 There is something pretty special about having someone beside you who keeps showing up, too.
Her goals for the rest of the year are BIG! She’s working toward her second weight-loss goal, which would bring her total loss to an incredible 85 pounds, while continuing to build strength. She’s also planning to complete the Rocky Run in Philadelphia with her daughter and friends! 🏃♀️💪
And here’s a fun fact some of you may not know… 💃🏻🕺🏻
Before discovering her love for strength training, Branin and Sean ran a Zumba side hustle right here in Middletown! Cardio was LIFE! 😂 Now she’s discovered that getting stronger can be just as much fun as surviving an entire Zumba playlist!
What does Branin love most about RKFIT? The fact that you don’t have to be the strongest, fastest, or fittest person in the room.
Everyone is simply working to become a little stronger and better than they were yesterday. ❤️
Her advice to anyone starting their own journey is simple:
✨ JUST SHOW UP. ✨
Your best will look different every day—and that’s okay. Do what you can with what you have that day, and keep going.
And yes… after a great workout, there may be a sweet treat involved. 🍪😉 Because she’s also learned that progress doesn’t have to mean deprivation or an “all or nothing” mentality.
We are SO proud to have Branin as part of our RKFIT family. Her consistency, humor, determination, and willingness to keep challenging herself are exactly what this community is all about.
Here’s to getting STRONGER, not just smaller. 💪🧡
⭐ Keep showing up.
⭐ Keep choosing yourself.
⭐ Keep getting stronger.
We’re cheering you on all the way to that 85-pound goal AND across the Rocky Run finish line! 🏃♀️🎉
