Please remember the following canal safety tips:
💧Keep children away from canals
💧Canal water is very cold and moves quickly, making it dangerous for both children and adults
💧Recreation in canals is prohibited as they are considered private property and any activities within the canals or along the bank may lead to trespassing charges.
💧Nampa & Meridian Irrigation Districts began filling canals in mid-April.
