A late happy birthday to Sensei Wayne Adams. He’s an inspiration to all. Celebrated 82 years young yesterday and was on the dojo floor for over an hour and a half tonight working hard! We’re thankful for Sensej Adams’ friendship.

We are very saddened to learn of the death of another Isshinryu legend, our friend, Ralph “Snake” Smith. Rest in peace, Snake.

Our office is closing on Monday in honor of Memorial Day. We will resume normal hours after the long weekend. Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable break!

Everyone did great tonight! We will have classes as regularly scheduled on Wednesday but there will be no classes next Monday in honor of Memorial Day!

I came in from court to find that Andrew Prather Pace and his wife Gayleen had visited my office and dropped off many items that belonged to him and the late Del Yager Sensei. Del was a wonderful friend of mine and I miss him dearly. We would speak on the phone every so often just to fill each other in on what was going on in our lives. Andrew is very thoughtful and I’m thankful for his friendship.

Congratulations are in order for Dawson Smith! Dawson has been with me for quite some time and I have watched him grow up. He received a much deserved promotion to green belt tonight!
