Cumberland Gap National Park is a great hidden gem. A pivotal geographical location for the passage of animals, Natives, and early settlers through Appalachia. The Pinnacle Overlook is awesome but I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t like curvy steep roads or get car sick easily.

Look Rock and all of the Foothills Parkway is an excellent viewpoint of the Smokies and surrounding areas. Views in the park are good too but you really get an idea for the scale of the mountain range from this distance. Which is harder to get when you’re in it.

This Klunker is my new favorite bike. Stock it was a pretty terrible bike but with a few tweaks (new cranks, pedals, & tires, with a parts bin stem, handlebar, and saddle) it is the most fun thing I’ve ever ridden. It’s hard to put into words but riding this on some legit singletrack felt like rediscovering mountain biking all over again. It was mega sketchy but it was mega fun!
