Sad news for the Miss Chesapeake. My sister Sharon passed away last night. She was on every parade of lights cruise till she became ill 3 years ago. She loved baking the cookies and making sure everyone had some.

I know this is a long shot but does anyone have any photos of her baking cookies in the cabin. I was always in the wheelhouse so I never took any pictures while underway.

MIDDLE RIVER PARADE OF LIGHTS
November 29th 2025
Come aboard the Miss Chesapeake for the Middle River Parade of Lights. We will join the 60 to 90 decorated boats touring Middle River passing all the waterfront establishments. Great way to start the holiday season.
Upper and lower deck for viewing, heated cabins, hot apple cider and fresh hot baked cookies while underway.
This event normally sells out, with limited spots available.
Departing Edwards Boatyard at 5 PM and returning between 8 30 and 9.
Cost – 45.00 per person. Payment in advance required though PayPal. Full refund if trip is cancelled due to weather. May cancel reservations 7 days in advance for full refund.

Miss Chesapeake does it again. 5 out 6 years winning Essex Rod and Gun club annual torment.
Started with a beautiful sunrise, the winds were calm.
1st place heaviest rockfish and 1st place longest white perch.
Limited out on rockfish with a few being too big and had to go back. After limiting out on rockfish we went after perch and caught one 13.5 inches. One of the best days ever on the Miss Chesapeake.

July 5th Fireworks, Crabs and Corn Cruise

A fantastic 4th of July celebration aboard the Miss Chesapeake. The weather was perfect, calm and clear. Crabs were large and full, and the corn was sweet. The fireworks were the best ever. A good time had by all.

Miss Chesapeake will host sunset cruises, crab and corn cruises, or any other type parties. Will start fishing after the rockfish break.

July 5th Middle River fireworks and crabs and corn.
6 spots open.

Join the Miss Chesapeake 8th annual fireworks, crabs and corn.

Depart Edwards boat yard. at 5 pm and cruise to the fireworks area. Set anchor and steam the crabs and corn. Enjoy hot steamed crabs and watch the sun set. Fireworks start around 9 PM. Return to the dock around 10.

Cost 100.00 per person plus tip for the mate. Paid in advance thought pay pal.

Another great cruise on the Miss Chesapeake. Parade of Lights 2024 is in the books. The wind went away, but it was a bit chilly. Coldest parade ever.
A fantastic group of people. Linda did a great job baking the cookies. Beth brought another crab shell for the tree. What a great way to end a season.

Miss Chesapeake wins again, 5 out of 6 years.

A beautiful sunrise to start and great weather the rest of the day.

We won the overall tournament and the largest rockfish category. Thought we had a winning white perch, but another boat had one the same length but weighed a few grams more. Congratulations to JD for catching the winning rockfish. The best part was we caught the fish with no other boats around, guess they did not know where to look.

2ND ANNUAL JIMMY BUFFET TRIBUE CRUISE September 7, 2024
Miss Chesapeake Charters will host a Jimmy Buffett cruise to honor a man who has influenced so many lives with his music'
Jimmy Buffett music will be provided by Nick Merson playing live and DJ Cindy playing more Buffett
Share your memories with other parrot heads, wear your parrot head clothing. It is BYOB so bring the margaritas.
Boarding at 5:15 PM and departing Edwards Boatyard at 5:30 PM.
Cruise to Hart/Miller Island then drop anchor and watch the sun set.
Sunset is 7: 26 PM Key West style sunset celebration.
Cruise back to the dock, should arrive at 8:30 PM
Cost is 45.00 person, plus tips for the crew. Prepaid in advance though PayPal.
