We lost a truly great one. The GOAT.
Pops was one of a kind. No matter what life threw his way, he always found a way to keep going. He was strong, honest, and never afraid to tell you exactly how it was, even if that meant letting you know your bag game needed some work.
He had been part of our leagues since the very beginning back in Newaygo, and he always showed up ready to throw bags, laugh, compete, and be around the people he cared about. Pops was more than just part of the league. He was an anchor. He was someone people looked forward to seeing, someone who made the room better just by being there.
I know he is up in heaven now, catching up with the loved ones he has missed over the years, probably already teaching them how to throw a bag with the same confidence he always had.
Pops will be greatly missed, and his presence will never be replaced.
Prayers to his family and everyone who loved him. I know they are hurting right now, and I hope they can feel how much he meant to all of us.
We love you, Pops!
