The newest Chungdokwan Taekwondo Alliance black belts and the first two black belts at our new location with our new name: Hailey Felix and Ramona Hollan. They did phenomenal today. When they got past their second form Grandmaster Coblentz and Senior Master Borden both just put down their pens and sat back in their chairs knowing that they were going to be able to just enjoy the show. Congrats ladies, you earned it!

Congratulations to Hailey and Ramona for earning their 1st degree School Black Belts today! They did a fantastic job. Also thank you to Senior Master Dwenger and Master Beckman for helping to judge.

Congratulations to Gabe, Anna, and Doug Hoffman on earning their Red Belts earlier today. Also congratulations to Svenya, Lukas, Emma, and Megan on their Black Belt tip promotions that move them all one step closer to their second degree Black Belt. They all did a great job earlier today! And thank you Master Beckman for coming up and helping to judge.

All ready to begin our first test in our new location! Unfortunately we have not been able to have open classes yet, but our black belts and a few of our high-level color belts have been able to meet in closed classes to be able to catch back up on their promotions. I hope to include another tier of students very soon.

Harrison Taekwondo family,

I hope you all are staying healthy.

I'm sorry it has been a while since I have sent out any updates. I have been hopeful that we would be able to progress to open classes again, but Ohio covid numbers and government mandates have delayed that. I have been able to meet with the Black Belts and a few of our higher colored belts for some very small classes.

We will have a Black Belt test and a test for 4 of our higher colored belts on Saturday, August 8th. It will be at this time that Hailey Felix and Ramona Hollan will be testing for their School Black Belt! Senior Grandmaster Coblentz will be coming to our school in September for a semi-private test for Hailey and Ramona's Chung Do Kwan Black Belt certification. We often encourage you all to come out and support testing students, but unfortunately that will not be the case with these two tests.

After the August school test I will be reaching out to our students who had signed up to test before the stay at home order. I would like to have another small school test for those students sometime in September to keep us all moving forward the best we can in these times.

Keep practicing what you know. And then when we are able to meet again you will be able to build on what you have already been taught.
