On April 18, 2026, the 4th Dan Classing and Clinic was successfully held at Golden Gate Karate School in Naples, Florida, with testing candidates representing both Tang Soo Do Karate, Inc. (Homestead) and Golden Gate Karate School.

We are proud of the dedication and effort shown by all participants throughout this important milestone.

Congratulations to all candidates for their outstanding performance during Dan Shim Sa. Your dedication, perseverance, and spirit were evident throughout the testing.

May your journey in Tang Soo Do continue to grow and remain a lifelong pursuit of excellence.

Today marked a historic milestone for the Tang Soo Do Seon Do Kwan Association as we held our very first Kodanja Presentation.

We are proud to recognize Master Bland Jensen, who was awarded her Yuk Dan (6th Dan) and Sa Bom Certification, and Kyo Sa Michael Cruz, who earned his Sa Dan (4th Dan) along with his Sa Bom Certification.

These two individuals exemplify the highest standards of dedication, discipline, and spirit, and truly represent what it means to be a martial artist. We honor their achievements and the example they set for our entire association.

The 3rd Dan Classing Test and Clinic were held at Golden Gate Karate School, where all candidates demonstrated exceptional Moo Do Shim Gung (martial spirit) and outstanding technique.

All candidates tested for Cho Dan (1st degree black belt), Nathan Haughton- James, Daviel Batista, AndresCastillo, Victoria Castillo and Roman Vento. Job well done during testing. Yesterday, I traveled to Kyo Sa Palma's school in Ocala, Florida to present him with his 2nd Dan rank and certification. Kyo Sa Palma has been my direct student for the last seven plus years. He is an excellent practitioner, as well as instructor. I'm very proud of him and wish him success in his martial arts journey, as well with his school. Tang Soo!!! It was also a special moment for his girlfriend Ana who tested for her 5th gup (green belt, 1 stripe), she did an excellent job. Congratulations! Tang Soo!!
