I wanted to share this with all my friends, parents and students! In life there is always a beginning and ending to everything. After 18 great years of owning and teaching, my journey as owner and instructor at the Countrywalk karate studio has come to an end. I was fortunate to have been able to maintain a successful school for as long as I did. Not to say that I did not have my ups and downs, but that’s what life is all about. What was most important to me was the countless hours of teaching and interacting with so many wonderful students and parents!
The truth is that it made me a better man/teacher and most importantly a better student! Now is time for me to focus in on some training. Those that know me best, understand that I’m a man of few words, but I wanted to say thanks to all those that have helped me along the way. In particular my first Kenpo teacher Sifu Mitch Behar. The CW school will continue to operate under Sifu Felipe Conde. It is time for him to continue the journey and carry the torch like others did so greatly. Sifu Fernando Cerra and professor Manny Reyes.
