In January I made a list, composed of all the things I would accomplish this year, like master my forward split, take a double black diamond run from the summit, and write another book. Also on that list was my goal to figure out my gut health. I didn't know what that meant exactly when I wrote it, only that I knew I needed it. I felt unbalanced and sluggish sometimes, fatigued beyond measure, and digestion seemed like a lot of work. I searched and studied, watched and listened.
