In memory of Frankie Monje 😔 some of you may not know him because we were a couple of years older, but if you remember the last years of Midway when Breaking, Popping and Locking came around. A small crew used to come to Midway to dance and show their talent. They would show up with the Camo Pants & The Guardian Angles T-shirts Frank Monje was one of the skinniest dancers lol, when they would all get together and dance it was a totally different vibe.
Castle Park was the next stop, then Video Powerhouse and so on & so on.
The next posting I'm going to post is one of the favorite songs Frankie would ask me to play when I pulled up with my car and they were all hanging outside by the basketball courts across from McDonald's Park in Hialeah. Club 8600 on Biscayne Blvd, Big Daddy's on 49th St in Hialeah....
Yeah I can name many places many of you would never walk into but they would just to go dance for a few hours. Seems like it was just yesterday...🥹
