Whippersnapper’s Fish Camp is all about showing
kids a great time through fishing. This low stress
program allows your children to enjoy nature & the
outdoors while being introduced to fishing. Captain
Matt Coffen will take you on a guided dock fishing trip
on land OR on his boat around Coconut Grove Marinas,
the Rickenbacker, & Key Biscayne catching anything
from piggy perch to nurse shar

(Q)Can parents come? (A)Yes Parents are always welcome. Captain Matt will only take 2 children himself on the dock or boat. For more than 2 children there will have to be a parent or guardian present. general rule is 1 adult for every 2 children. (*maximum of 6 children and 3 adults on the boat). (Q)What should I bring? (A)All fishing tackle and bait is provided. Recommended things to bring: snacks, drinks, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, shoes, camera. (Q)What if the weathers bad? (A)We will reschedule for later in the day or another date. (Q)Do I need a fishing license? (A)No, The boat covers all licensing. (Q)What kind of boat will we be fishing on? (A)Captain Matt has a 2208 Tran Sport XLR8 with a power pole and 200hp Suzuki. (Q)Will life jackets be provided for dock fishing? (A)Yes, There will be lifejackets provided.
