One of the most rewarding things I get from being a dance fitness instructor is watching some kickass boss babes doing my choreo 😍 My heart explodes with joy ♥️ They make me believe in myself even when I don’t and they help continuously build the vision that what we have created goes beyond dance.

Real talk: sometimes I wonder what makes me so special when there so many options out there? It’s hard to see it sometimes. But one answer comes to my mind:

“ I truly care and love the people around me and I do believe that I have something inside of me to make a change in this world”

How? Well I’ve been through it. I’ve been there just like many other women, if not all. I used to believe:

😔 I didn’t deserve a lot.
😔 I was selfish for taking time for me.
😔 I had no time.
😔 Having kids and family were limitations or excuses not to take care of myself.
😔 My life was meant to please others.
😔 I had no purpose, motivation or drive.
😔 I wasn’t strong enough or capable of changing.
😔 Complaining about my situation was better than taking action.
😔 I had to wait for happiness to happen.
😔 I wasn’t worthy.

But you see dance helped me believe in the magic. It helped me stay motivated. It helped me discover myself differently. It was the means that lead me to see life differently, to try new things, to learn new skills. It’s taken a lot of years for me to get where I am now, and trust me I like to believe that me and my girls are in the journey together. My goal is to help you see what you are capable of. To change from within. To find a way to release and discover what it feels like to have inner peace.

What makes us special is who we are not what we do. And that’s what I give in my classes, the truest most vulnerable version of myself on the dance floor. I don’t want you to be perfect, I want you to feel.

Incredibly grateful for these moments and my girls. You bring me so much joy:

It’s no secret I love doing tik toks. Sometimes I get inspired by the music and movements to create dance routines for DANCEFX. So why not make a master class out of it?

Interesting fact: 60% of tik tok users are female and 86% are between the ages of 16-44. If you thought this is what 12 year olds do, think again. It hasn’t been for the last 2 years!

Tik tok dances are fun because they are quick, fun, easy to follow, and after you have done it several times, you get to see a product you are proud of.

I’m putting a twist to it. We are gonna learn some step by step while adding some dance fitness fun to it. Let’s be like the cool kids 🥰

I lift 💪🏻and I dance 💃because who says we can’t?

Incorporating this in my daily routine helps me:

💪🏻 Break a sweat and release endorphins. Sweating it’s a detox for our bodies and a natural pain reliever.

💪🏻 Lifting something heavy challenges our mental strength. It’s about the power that you feel after accomplishing the workout.

💪🏻 Embracing the fears and doing something scary. Knowing that you have the courage to overcome the fears, and find out what you are capable of, can boost your self esteem.

💪🏻 Dancing and Moving reminds me that I’m not a tree 🌳 and that our bodies are meant to be moved. It’s showing a little gratitude to our bodies for being able to move.

Honestly, there is nothing that makes me feel better than shaking my 🍑 or strength training when I’m not feeling my best. It brings me back to being present, being myself, taking my power back, feeling strong and confident, and that my biggest commitment is to myself and my mental health.

It’s not about what you CAN’T do, it’s about what you CAN do. Keep going baby.
