To be coachable is to lack arrogance and defensiveness to minimize pride and ego and to let go of the need to be the smartest person in the room. Do you think you know better? If you had known better you wouldn’t of sought after a coach in the first place. Your ego will hold you back from listening and learning from those who could make you better. A good coach can’t change you, only you have the power to change yourself. The single best way to facilitate that change is to make yourself more coachable.
