Jaguar Academy Technical training sessions.

Starting Wednesday night at 6pm we will go back to our roots and offer training sessions for players born in 2016 up to 2011.

This is free to Jaguar but open to the community to attend. If you have a friend that is looking to get into competitive soccer or just have better training while they explore multiple sports recreationally this is a good place to invite them out to see your club.

Half way through the 2022 season and we have seen improvement since the last post. We now sit at a record of 2 and 3 in conference play. We have two solid conference wins. The losses include 1-0 loss to Rose State. A hard fought game with a goal allowed late. A 1-0 loss to Murray State. Murray was a good team. It was another good game. We gave up a PK with 4 minutes remaining. Then today (9-25) we lost a 2-1 game against Eastern with 2:24 remaining in the 2nd O.T. A tough loss for sure.
All that said to say we are a tough team to play. No one in conference has had an easy time with us. Hopefully the next time through conference the close games go our way and we will move up the ranks of region 2.

3 games into our 2022 season and things are not going as planned up to this point. Having said that I encourage you to stay with us. This has been one of the most unusual starts to a season we have ever experienced. Key injuries slowed us out of the gate a bit, but more than that 3 red cards in 3 games have greatly changed our result.
Yes, 3 red cards, 2 in the first half and 1 less than 10 minutes into the second. All in all, we have played more minutes with 10 Men than 11. We have conceded more goals in the final 20 minutes of the games than in the first 70 minutes combined. In short, we have had some misfortune, we've created some misfortune and haven't shown what we are capable of yet.
We play in Harrison, AR tomorrow and then start conference play on the 11th.
The region is the most mixed up I've ever seen it. Teams are beating up on each other up to this point, no clear front runner has emerged. So as we get healthy and fix some key problems our true identity should emerge in the next couple of weeks.

2021 season update.
Rough going for NEO so far this season. NEO has been in every game they have played this year but has given up late goals in several games resulting in a 1 and 5 record thus far. The one win holds them in 5th place out of now 7 teams in region 2. There are two more regional opponents to go on the first round of competition. Coming up on Thursday NEO will host long time Rival NOC of Tonkawa. NOC is currently undefeated in conference play and look to be back to their form from the days of 2014. On Sunday NEO will host Rich Mountain. Rich Mountain is winless in region 2 but has tied 2 games. After the Rich Moumtain game NEO will work through the conference a 2nd time.

2021 has started rough for NEO soccer. With the long layover of 2020, hopes were hi coming into this Fall. NEO has had a rough go of it early in the season. Murray State was moved from the last game of the season to the first due to last minute changes in the conference tournament schedule. To compound the challenge of starting the year with a conference game the schedule change eliminated one of the teams scrimages and the other was canceled due to weather. NEO entered the game without their normal pre-season preparation.
Inexperience showed as NEO dropped the opening match 4-0. The game was close, but late goals made the score look worse than the it was.
NEO lost game two to top20 Cowley County. Again staying close for much of the game. Down 1-0 at half and 2-0 in he final 20 minutes. NEO lost by a final score of 5-0.
NEO followed up that game with a close loss to conference foe Rose State.
NEO picked up a conference win over National Park College by a 3-1 margin.
NEO lost another close one by a score of 2-1 against Allen County. NEO had the early lead and held a 1-0 lead for 70 minutes when they gave up the equalizer. In final minutes NEO braced for overtime, but gave up a long shot for a goal with just under a minute remaining.

It's been a rough start for your Norsemen. Today however starts a 1 week stretch without a game. The team will find a new focus and new level in that week. Eastern Oklahoma State College Men's Soccer is next on the list for NEO as they look to get back on track.

Hello everyone. I'd like to introduce our soccer alumni to the NEO alumni group. We hope this group grows over time and creates multiple events that will give you reason to get back on campus to revisit old times.
Don't worry though, this is not replacing the alumni game that we hope to reinstate this Spring.
Please share the alumni group with your teammates so that we can re-connect as many people as possible.

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College is inviting all our former athletes to join our newly created Athletics Alumni Club to reconnect with your college, your former teammates and celebrate our many successes.  Memberships cost $25 a year. NEO International Students Visit State Capitol

Miami, Oklahoma - Monday, March 9, 2020 – International Students from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) recently visited the Oklahoma State Capitol for International Student Recognition Day. Hosted by Representative Mark McBride and the Governor’s International Team, the event gave international students the chance to meet legislators and hear from guest speakers.

"International Student Recognition Day allowed us to network with other internationals studying in Oklahoma as we toured the state Capitol,” said Alex Pike, a sophomore business administration major from Canada. “It was fascinating to hear other's stories and connect through our shared experience of coming to study in America. I feel a stronger connection to Oklahoma after learning more about its history and the plans for the state moving forward."

NEO currently hosts 51 international students from 17 countries who form a vibrant community on campus. International Student Recognition Day was established to welcome the international population and celebrate the cultural, educational, and economic benefits international studies provide for both students and the state.

“This experience was eye opening. Justice Dustin Rowe’s speech was exceptional. He spoke about stepping out of your comfort zone by using his own life experiences,” said Thales Vilar, a sophomore computer science major from Brazil. “He left behind a private sector career of over 20 years to join the Supreme Court. I will remember his lessons and apply them to my life as I continue to grow in my career.”

International students in attendance: Thales Silva Vilar, Alexandre Frances Salmon, Heitor Altino Conde de Sousa, Alex Pike, Patryk Kulawik, Kevaughn Watson, Jasmine Young, Georgia Young.

For more information about international studies at NEO, contact Elizabeth Flees, International Programs coordinator, at [email protected].
