Does your child get really upset when they lose? Sometimes it’s not about being a “bad loser” — they may simply need more opportunities to experience losing, process the frustration, and try again.
As parents, we can help by giving our kids more social experiences, allowing them to work through frustration instead of immediately rescuing them from it, and most importantly, praising the comeback — not just the win.
Winning feels great. But learning how to lose, get back up, and try again is a skill that can last a lifetime. 🥋
