Our LEAP Gymnasts took on Houston and the winter storm this weekend! 🤸 ❄️

This year’s Biles Invitational opened the doors to our HUGS athletes for the very first time. HUGS (Hope Unites Gymnastics with Special Athletes) is an adaptive division of USA Gymnastics for athletes with physical, intellectual and other developmental special needs. It was a honor to take the competition floor, alongside HUGS athletes from New York and Missouri!

Our girls did so good, each of them making huge accomplishments during competition and coming home with 4 medals and a GOLD ALL-AROUND MEDAL! 🥇

From the Chalk Talk to chatting with Ms. Nellie and a special meeting with Simone, Dulcy and Casimir, they loved every moment! Thank you and for creating such an amazing and positive experience for our athletes. And creating a space where ALL gymnasts can be seen, supported and celebrated! 🫶🏽🤸‍♂️

What a truly amazing weekend, having our LEAP Families come together to show our beloved Becky so much love and support! We had so much fun being together again …. eating, laughing and playing games!

If you’re a parent or a caregiver of a special needs child or adult your days are filled with frustrations and challenges many do not understand. Some days you’re filled with joy and promise and other days you wonder how you can cope.

We can empathize with you and are here for you. You are not alone!

Since the senseless death of Alejandro Ripley, we have been inundated with calls and comments from concerned individuals, everywhere. Many have told us they often times feel alone and helpless caring for a child with special needs.

As advocates for individuals with autism and other developmental challenges, we believe it is our duty to help families and offer them a lifeline.

In the days and weeks ahead, we will be launching a South Florida initiative, The Lifeline Project, offering support to parents and families who need to know that someone’s in their corner.
