Whether you conceal carry or open carry, You must be able to lawfully possess a handgun per Federal law (e.g. not a felon or an individual with a conviction of domestic abuse) and any state requirements.
You must also be in a place where you’re allowed to be (I.e. not trespassing) and not in a facility that doesn’t allow fi****ms.
Also, if you are open carrying you may only open carry according to the law of the specific state that you are in. See chart above.
There are also certain facilities that you may not enter a weapon into. What facilities are those? Look at next post for that.
