Over two years ago I started carnivore to help heal things like depression, brain fog, fatigue, and my gut issues. I was dealing with microscopic colitis, Graves disease, and just a lot of hard stuff that doctors couldn’t fully figure out. Saying yes to carnivore has been one of the biggest things that helped me get through those times and finally start feeling better.
Since then I’ve slowly re-introduced foods to see what works for me. That’s exactly how I eat now. It’s not a diet, it’s just what works for me. And yes, not everyone will agree, and you have to find your own path.
One of my favorite breakfasts is something I don’t have often but it hits every time. I found this Aldi sourdough bread that’s like an everything bagel. It’s one of the cleanest sourdough breads I’ve seen in a grocery store. If you can find it locally or make your own, even better.
Here’s what I do:
• 1 slice clean sourdough bread (read your ingredients)
• 1 small hass avocado, mashed with a quarter to half a lemon squeezed in
• Crumbled feta cheese
• Salt to taste
• 2 fried eggs on top
• And of course bacon, I get a sugar-free nitrate-free kind from Aldi and it’s amazing
Mix up the avocado, smash it on your toast, add the eggs, sprinkle the feta, and top with bacon. Breakfast done and feeling good.
What’s your go-to breakfast when you want something that actually fills you up and makes you feel good? I’d love to hear your favorites.
