Yesterday, I had the opportunity to test Mr. Ivan Kostiuk for 3rd Dan. The exam ran about 3 hours, and consisted of:
Fundamental Techniques
Patterns
Kicking
3/2/1 Step Sparring
Free Sparring
Self-Defense Techniques
Power Hand/Power Foot/and Techniqe Breaking
Oral Board Examination Questions

The exam was deliberately grueling, and is designed to test both physical and mental stamina.

I have been training ITF taekwon-do for two and a half years and I am
a blue belt. After two years of consistent training, I am now planning to compete in the 2026 ITF
World Cup in Benidorm, Spain. Despite only two years of experience, I have come a long way
and I will be representing Blue Dragon Taekwon-Do.
