The 6’2, 215-pound linebacker from Tampa, FL — ranked as the No. 1 LB in the 2027 Rivals300 — is set to announce his commitment today. I know the Irish were deep in the race, making it to the final three teams.
It’s looking very unlikely that we’ll land this young man. Unlike some other fan bases, we wish him nothing but the best and hope he has a change of heart in the meantime. Hopefully he tosses on the hat we want him to unexpectedly but it seems far fetched at this current point in time! He was originally scheduled to visit the University of Notre Dame tomorrow and stay through the weekend, but he moved his commitment date up to today.

Most believe it’s down too Texas A&M & LSU!

Sources allegedly indicated that Texas A&M gave him an ultimatum: “Here’s our offer, you either take it before your visit with the Irish, or the offer no longer stands.” This is tough for a young kid who was probably offered a big bag of money to stay far away from Coach Freeman and his staff.

As it stands after last night, it seemed like an all-out bidding war for the five-star linebacker, one that Notre Dame had no problem walking away from.

Coach Marcus Freeman and his staff will continue to work the 2027 recruiting class hard. If there’s one thing I’ve noticed in these battles with Notre Dame, it’s that other schools do not feel comfortable letting Freeman and elite players spend a full weekend together. They know just how strong Coach Freeman is in the recruiting process!
