The Miami Dolphins' 7-10 season was followed by major changes.

Several familiar faces are gone, the team has a new head coach in Jeff Hafley, and Miami is entering a very different chapter heading into 2026.

One player who remains is Zach Sieler.

The veteran defensive lineman was one of the few bright spots during a difficult season and continued proving why he's such an important part of the defense.

His production in 2025 reflected that:

💙 47 total tackles
🧡 5.5 sacks (2nd on team)
💙 10 tackles for loss (t-2nd on team)
🧡 9 QB hits
💙 1 fumble recovery

Sieler has consistently found ways to impact games, even during difficult seasons.

And as Miami enters its next chapter, he'll remain one of the foundations of the team's defense.

💙🧡💪🐬

Securing an elite cornerstone in the backfield establishes a concrete structural identity for Miami's evolving offensive unit.

Exploding for a spectacular 1,350 rushing yards while leading the entire league with an outstanding 5.7 yards per carry validated his rare physical gifts.

Stepping directly into a major leadership role for his fourth professional campaign positions him as the clear focal point under the newly installed schematic regime.

The dynamic running back helps the Miami Dolphins by utilizing unmatched track speed to break open perimeter zone runs and stretch opposing linebackers in the passing game.

Perfecting his diverse responsibilities within the fresh West Coast system stands as the absolute priority as team training sessions intensify. 🐬💨

Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers remain at a standstill in contract negotiations, raising questions about the quarterback’s long-term future with the franchise ⏳

“Contract stuff, it’s happening, but not anywhere close to what we were thinking,” Mayfield said. “I would love to have a long-term deal, but they know my deadline is as soon as training camp starts, we’re not doing any contract stuff, it’s all ball.” 🗣️

At an average salary of $33.3 million per year, Mayfield currently ranks 16th among NFL quarterbacks in annual pay. After helping revive his career in Tampa Bay, he is likely seeking a deal that reflects his value closer to some of the league’s higher-paid signal-callers.

If negotiations fail to gain traction and questions about his future persist, the Miami Dolphins could emerge as an intriguing landing spot.

The organization has faced recurring concerns regarding durability and long-term stability at the position. Mayfield’s experience, competitive mentality, and ability to operate in a pass-heavy offense could make him an attractive option if the Dolphins find themselves exploring alternatives 👀

Everyone knows the Dolphins’ offense looks very different heading into 2026.

Tyreek Hill is gone. Jaylen Waddle is gone.

That leaves a massive opportunity for someone to step forward, and CBS Sports believes Malik Washington could be the player who benefits most.

Washington quietly finished third on the team in targets and receptions last season, hauling in 46 catches on 65 targets while continuing to earn trust within the offense. Now, with Miami completely reshaping its wide receiver room, his role could grow significantly.

Veterans Jalen Tolbert and Tutu Atwell were added this offseason, while rookies Chris Bell and Caleb Douglas will compete for snaps. But Washington already has experience in the system and could quickly become one of Malik Willis’ favorite targets.

The opportunity is there.

The targets are available.

And if Washington can take advantage of both, he could emerge as one of the biggest breakout players in the AFC this season.

Chop Robinson knows this is the season where potential has to turn into complete production.

The Miami Dolphins need Robinson to become more than just a pass-rush weapon. Jeff Hafley wants him to grow into an every-down edge defender, someone who can affect the quarterback, set the edge, and hold up against the run.

Robinson added seven pounds this offseason, moving from 258 to 265, and said the biggest improvement has been his eyes in the run game. With Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips no longer in front of him, Robinson now has a real chance to prove he can be Miami’s top pass rusher.

Greg Dulcich has spent most of his NFL career waiting for an opportunity.

Injuries, roster moves and inconsistent playing time have prevented the former third-round pick from becoming the player many expected when he entered the league in 2022.

Now, the Dolphins believe that opportunity has finally arrived.

After flashing potential late last season, Dulcich has quickly become one of Malik Willis’ favorite targets during offseason workouts. The two already had a connection dating back to the 2022 Senior Bowl, and that chemistry has carried over into Miami’s new offense.

Dulcich’s talent has never been questioned.

Over his final two seasons at UCLA, he averaged more than 18 yards per reception and established himself as one of college football’s most explosive tight ends. Even during limited NFL opportunities, he has consistently shown the ability to create big plays down the field.

Dolphins general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan has already identified Dulcich as a potential breakout player for 2026.

With Malik Willis entering his first season as Miami’s starter and the offense searching for new playmakers, Dulcich could be positioned for the biggest role of his professional career.

Sometimes all a player needs is the right opportunity.

The Dolphins believe Greg Dulcich may finally have found his.
