DEVELOPING: One person who has known Arch Manning for a long time predicts that he'll transfer to Ole Miss for the 2027 season, joining the same program his uncle, Eli Manning, played for from 2000-2023, according to Tom Pelissero.

“I texted one person who’s known Arch (Manning) a long time earlier tonight, and I said, ‘Where do you see Arch in 2027?’ And his response was Ole Miss," Pelissero said on the latest Bill Simmons podcast.

With Trinidad Chambliss in his final year of eligibility, the Rebels will be searching for a new quarterback next season, and there's buzz that it could be Arch Manning.

Interestingly enough, Arch Manning and the #19 Longhorns host the #7 Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday night.

DEVELOPING: After receiving zero carries in Week 6 due to his four fumbles this season and Najee Harris' release on Tuesday, Cam Skattebo knows that "nobody is safe" on the Giants' roster and acknowledged that he can be cut if his performance doesn't improve.

"Nobody is safe. It's as simple as that. When we go on the field and perform, and we're not performing, we understand that there's a possibility of not being here," Skattebo said.

"If I don't perform, I know there's a possibility of me not being here."

In six games this season and five starts, Skattebo has rushed for 294 yards on 81 carries (3.6 YPC) and 1 TD with 10 receptions for 79 yards.

Before being traded to the Texans, Marvin Harrison Jr. IGNORED phone calls from Cardinals' coaches and his relationship with the franchise deteriorated, per Josh Weinfuss.

Harrison Jr., 24, had issues with the Cardinals' QB situation and that was another factor in his decision to hire agents to help facilitate a trade out of Arizona, per Weinfuss.

"Meanwhile, things were trending in the wrong direction for Harrison, who was concerned with the quarterback situation. The uncertainty of how long Jacoby Brissett would be starting this season, and whether Brissett was part of Arizona's long-term plans, weighed on Harrison.

In addition, Harrison wasn't sure how rookie quarterback Carson Beck was going to pan out. The question of whether Arizona would completely pivot at quarterback this offseason and either draft a new signal-caller or sign one also factored into Harrison's decision to hire Todd France and Tory Dandy around four weeks ago.," Weinfuss wrote.

However, the disconnect in Arizona began his rookie year when Harrison Jr. asked the franchise to buy a Monarc Sport Seeker. It's a Jugs machine that Harrison used at Ohio State; it can adjust its arm to mimic throwing angles, and it costs between $38,000 and $50,000.

After debating for a month, Arizona eventually declined to buy it, so Harrison bought it himself.

All of that developed frustration over the last few years and it got to a point that Harrison Jr. stopped taking calls from his coaches, per Weinfuss.

BREAKING: Packers RB Josh Jacobs is expected to be ACTIVATED to play on Sunday vs. Lions, per Matt LaFleur.

As long as Jacobs gets through today's practice without any issues, he's set to make his season debut.

Jacobs, 28. was arrested in late May following a domestic disturbance and later pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor criminal damage to property.

The NFL reinstated Jacobs from the commissioner's exempt list on Monday.

Last week, Jacobs filed a lawsuit to block the public release of home surveillance video from the May 23rd domestic altercation involving an ex-girlfriend.

Jacobs says he is "remorseful" for his actions and says a 3 or 4-second decision "can alter your life."

"I can't really get into a lot of things, like specifics of things, but obviously I'm remorseful and sorry for putting this team in this situation. Sometimes when you go through life situations occur, and a 4-second, 3-second decision can alter your life honestly. With that being said, still a human being, man, still trying to learn, still trying to grow from the whole process. Actually learned a lot throughout this whole process, legally and just personally," Jacobs said.

Before leaving the game with a toe injury in the third quarter, Bears fourth-round rookie CB Malik Muhammad had Patriots WR A.J. Brown LOCKED UP 🔒

Brown finished the game with 3 receptions for 48 yards on 6 targets, but was ineffective when he was covered by Muhammad.

A Rookie Watch account on X also posted game clips of Muhammad locking up Brown, calling the rookie one of the best man-to-man cornerbacks in the NFL.

Muhammad responded by saying, "It's me."

During his postgame interview, Brown said that defenses are intentionally taking him out of the game:

"I'm a vet. I know how the game go. I understand how the game go. It's kinda how the game is. I know what type of player I am and I know that's always the case. Everytime I line up, I get a lot of attention, so teams try to take me away. It gives a lot of opportunities for other guys to make plays and soften that up for me, and whenever I get my shots, I gotta make em."

BREAKING: Colts QB Anthony Richardson Sr. has been charged with misdemeanor ma*****na possession in Hamilton County 🚨

According to a probable cause affidavit, a Carmel Police Department officer stopped a black Dodge Charger around Springmill Boulevard and Silver Stream Drive, just north of 136th Street, on Oct. 12 after noticing the car had a license plate that didn't match the vehicle's registration, and that the registration was expired.

The officer wrote he immediately smelled ma*****na coming from the car when he approached, and that Richardson was the sole occupant.

According to the affidavit, Richardson told the officer he had smoked ma*****na inside the car because he didn't want to smoke around his children, and that there was a small amount of ma*****na inside the car.

Police said Richardson exited the car and was detained. Investigators searched the car and reported finding a small Mason jar with around five grams of suspected ma*****na and a bag with THC gummies in the glove compartment.

Court documents state the suspected ma*****na tested positive for THC, and that both the ma*****na and the gummies were collected as evidence.

Richardson was issued a citation for an expired registration and a summons for ma*****na possession, according to the affidavit.

Online court records indicate Richardson's initial hearing was waived, and he's currently scheduled for a bench trial on January 4th.

The Colts issued the following statement: "We are aware of the situation involving Anthony Richardson and are currently gathering additional information. We will have no further comment at this time."

BREAKING: Several teams are interested in trading for Colts star RB Jonathan Taylor before November 10th's deadline, but it's unclear if Indianapolis wants to deal him following the firing of Chris Ballard, per Stephen Holder.

"The Colts are still plotting their next moves after Monday's firing of general manager Chris Ballard, with many around the NFL expected to gauge the team's interest in dealing some of its key players."

Taylor, the league's active leader in rushing yards per game (89.9), wasn't ready to discuss a potential trade when asked about his future today.

"I haven't given any thought. That'd be crazy right now, especially because we've got a great Minnesota Vikings team that we have to go against. I think it would be a discredit and a disservice to my teammates and this whole organization to think about what could, what should, what may be," Taylor said.
