There are two main biological rhythms running inside your body at all times.
The first one most people know about: your circadian rhythm. Roughly 24 hours, governed by light.
The second one is rarely talked about outside of fertility conversations: your infradian rhythm. Roughly 28 days, governed by your menstrual cycle.
Men have one main rhythm. Women have two.
And that is not a flaw in our design. It is an added intelligence.
Your brain structure, immune system, metabolism, microbiome, insulin sensitivity, and nervous system are all shifting with your cycle. The same stressor, meal, workout, or workday can feel completely different depending on what phase you are in.
That is not instability.
That is biology.
