Hip flexor stretch: Your hip flexors, which allow you to lift your knees and flex at the waist, are located on your upper thighs, just below your hip bones. ​​​​​​​​

To stretch your hip flexors:​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
-Kneel on your right knee. ​​​​​​​​
-Place your left foot in front of you, bending your knee and placing your left hand on your left leg for stability.​​​​​​​​
-Keep your back straight and your abdominal muscles tight.​​​​​​​​
-Lean forward, shifting more body weight onto your front leg. ​​​​​​​​
-Hold for about 30 seconds.​​​​​​​​
-Switch legs and repeat.​​​​​​​​

Equipment needed: Bands​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
Stand on a resistance band and hold the other end at shoulder height, with palms facing forward. Extend your arms directly above you, just wider than shoulder width. Lower the band back down and repeat.​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
βœ… For best results you can do 1–3 sets of 8–15 repetitions.​​​​​​​​
