🚨 ONCE A FALCON, ALWAYS A FALCON 🚨

Love seeing one of our own getting some well-deserved recognition at the next level!

St. Joseph Wrestling alum Morgan Schwarz is being featured as part of the incoming freshman class at Bloomsburg University. Morgan left his mark on our program with 132 career wins, 2 County Championships, 3 District Championships, 4 State Tournament appearances and 2 State medals, including a 3rd-place finish in New Jersey.

But beyond the wins and medals, Morgan represented St. Joseph Wrestling the right way — with toughness, commitment and pride every time he stepped on the mat.

Now a new chapter begins. We couldn’t be prouder to watch Morgan take that same mentality to the collegiate level and represent Bloomsburg Wrestling.

Congratulations, Morgan. The Falcon Family will be following and cheering you on every step of the way! 💪🤼‍♂️

May he rest in eternal peace. Greg was nothing but humble, generous, and caring to everyone in the St. Joseph’s wrestling family. His loss will be felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. He will truly be missed. 🙏

The Saint Joseph community mourns the passing of a true Saint Joseph Falcon: Gregory Tufaro ’85, a devoted alumnus and longtime supporter of Saint Joe’s.

Greg’s commitment to his alma mater was felt in countless ways, most recently through his leadership as chair of the inaugural Hall of Distinction Committee and his instrumental role in the return of the Saint Joseph Athletics Hall of Fame, to which he was inducted as a contributor in 2021.

We are grateful for Greg’s friendship, dedication, and lasting impact on Saint Joseph High School. Our prayers are with his wife, Cyndi, and extended family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

Today, we celebrate 250 years of American independence—honoring the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering spirit of those who built and continue to defend our nation.

As Falcons, we’re grateful for the freedoms that allow us to compete, grow, and pursue excellence every day. May we never take those blessings for granted.

Wishing our wrestlers, families, alumni, and supporters a safe and memorable Independence Day.

Today we celebrate our St. Joseph Wrestling seniors as they graduate and begin the next chapter of their journey. Thank you for the hard work, leadership, toughness, and memories you brought to this program over the years.

Special acknowledgement to Nico who was awarded Junior of the Year, and Tyler and Morgan who both received Wrestler of the Year in the GMC!

Yesterday we celebrated our end-of-the-year banquet for St. Joseph Wrestling—an incredible night honoring a truly special group.

A special thank you to Mark and everyone at The Portuguese Fisherman for the amazing food and atmosphere.

To our seniors: thank you for four years of hard work, dedication, and pride in our program. You’ve helped build something that will last far beyond your time here. Your leadership, toughness, and commitment set the standard for what this program is all about. You will be missed more than you know.

To the parents: thank you for your constant support, trust, and sacrifices over the years. This program is stronger because of you, and we are incredibly grateful.

While it’s never easy to say goodbye, we’re excited for what’s ahead. The future of St. Joseph Wrestling is bright, and the foundation this group has built will continue to push us forward.
