Known for her achievements in the 1990s up until 2002, Deyana Lomban has become a household name in the world of Badminton. Starting at the age of 8, a young Deyana began her career with the support of her father, Adri Lomban, who was the first to coach her and as well the first to stumble upon the seed of her talent. Realizing this, her father trained her hard and intro
duced her to Badminton. Little by little, she became familiar with the racket and handling it quickly became second nature. With eyes foreseeing her providence, Adri was able to see deep into the future and knew that her daughter was sure of great destinies. Through prayer, hope, further support, and motivation from her coach of a father, Deyana proved that she was more than a competitor capable of vying at a world class level and ultimately proficient enough to reap boundless success. At the paramount and acme of her career, Deyana was ranked #1 in the world for women’s double in the years of 1996 and 2001.
