If ANYONE is not working/not receiving a paycheck, and runs out of food, or times are just tough....please don’t let you or your kids especially, go to bed with an empty stomach. Don’t be afraid or embarrassed to send me a private message. I will be more than happy to share whatever I can and have. I will drop and go and pretend it never happened! It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we inform you of the unexpected passing of our beloved coach and friend, Anton Updale. Coach Anton passed away from complications due to a recent procedure he had.

Anton has been a member of our Monroe Wolverines family for many years. During his tenure here as coach he won numerous championship titles and was even voted Central Jersey Pop Warner’s Coach of the Year two years ago. Most importantly, Coach Anton was known for his heart, his dedication, and the difference he made in the lives of his athletes and fellow coaches over the years. He will be missed tremendously by all who knew him.

Please join us in keeping Anton’s wife Jen, and their children Anton, Christian, and Delilah in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time.

For those who wish to pay respects to the family, we are coordinating with other programs in our community to set up a procession to drive past the Updale family home tomorrow evening. We will meet at Daniel Ryan Field at 6:00pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. We will then drive past Coach Anton’s house as a large caravan to show his family our love and support.

This is a reminder that tonight from 6:30 - 9 pm is in person @ Edgar Middle School registration for the upcoming season. We will have 2 teams 12U and 14U. New players are welcomed. We do not play Mothers Day or Easter Sunday. 5 games possibly 6. Be the foundation for your HS football team. See you tonight. Practice starts March 3 Charles Field, Metuchen.
