An amazing first week at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show! Our riders put in great rounds all week, and we are so proud of everything they accomplished!

Talia Kirson and Candor ribboned in every over fences class in the 3’3” Small Junior Hunters 16-17, qualifying them for the 3’3” Junior Hunter Winners Stake, where they finished in twelfth place!

Elianna Kirson and Commentator had a beautiful round in the USEF Dover Medal Final, finishing in the top 30 riders out of 208!

Talia Kirson and Attendu de Lannois Z put in a very solid round in Talia’s first USEF Dover Medal Final!

A great first week, and we are excited for the second week here in Harrisburg!

Congratulations to all of our riders who competed last week as our team split up between Capital Challenge and USEF Talent Search Finals!

At Capital Challenge, Alexa Anastasio rode Legacy to fifth place in the WCHR Junior 3’3” Challenge! Alexa’s other ride, Fedor, was fourth in the 3’3” 15&U U/S. Sasha Kassel and Beckham finished third place in the 15-17 Children’s Hunter U/S, and were fifth place in the first round over fences! And Megan Carlotti had a great indoors debut aboard Lo**ta, putting in solid rounds in the 14&U Children’s Hunter Division.

Over at USET Finals, Elianna Kirson rode Commentator to a top 20 finish with three beautiful phases throughout the weekend.

We are so proud of our riders, and ready for Harrisburg!

A great start to indoors at Capital Challenge for team KKLLC!

Talia Kirson and Attendu de Lannois Z earned 4th place in the EMO/USHJA Jumping Seat Medal Final Flat Phase out of 170 riders with a score of 90! This pair jumped great rounds in the final, as well as a nice round in the North American Junior Equitation Championship. Talia also had solid rounds in the 16 Year-Old Equitation (Sec. A) with Holsteins Bacardi D Balou, receiving an 8th place finish over fences.

Elianna Kirson and Commentator finished twenty-second in the North American Junior Equitation Championship, scoring an 86.16 in the first round! Elianna also had great rounds in the 17 Year-Old Equitation (Sec. B) with Vantastico, earning an 8th place in the over fences.

Alexa Anastasio and Dante’s inferno put in excellent rounds in the EMO/USHJA Jumping Seat Medal Final and 15 Year-Old Equitation (Sec. A). Alexa was third place in the age equitation flat, qualifying for the North American Flat Equitation Championship!

A big congratulations to our equitation riders this past week at the Kentucky National!

🏆Elianna Kirson and Commentator take 4th place in the Region 4 ASPCA Maclay Regional.
🥇Elianna Kirson and Vantastico winning the USHJA Zone 5 Horsemanship Class, winning the over fences phase, second place in the written portion, and third place in the flat.
🥉Talia Kirson and Attendu de Lannois Z were 3rd place Overall in the USHJA Zone 5 Horsemanship Class, winning the flat phase, and receiving third in the over fences.
🏆Alexa Anastasio and Dante’s Inferno take fifth place in the NHS Hamel 3’3” Regional Equitation Championship.

We are so proud of these pairs and are excited for the upcoming fall season!

Reminiscing on a great time at the Hampton Classic Horse Show this past week! Some team highlights include:
Talia Kirson and Attendu de Lannois Z were first place in the USHJA Jumping Seat Medal🥇 She also rode to top ribbons in the 3’3” 16-17 Junior Hunters on Candor, and finished seventh overall in the $10,000 Combined Junior/Amateur Hunter Classic!
Sasha Kassel and Polly Pocket sped to a second place finish in the Low Children’s Jumper Power and Speed Two-Phase🥈 She also rode Beckham to great ribbons in the Older Children’s Hunters, finishing fifth in the Combind Children’s Hunter Classic!
Alexa Anastasio and Legacy picked up high ribbons in the 3’3” 15&U Junior Hunters🥉 She also rode Dante’s Inferno to a fourth place finish in the USHJA Jumping Seat Medal.
Sophie Kassel and Performance EP put in consistent and solid rounds all week in the High Childrens Jumpers🏅
Elianna Kirson and Commentator placed second in the $10,000 Hermés Equitation Championship🥈 She also had great rounds on Ilyana in the 3’6” Older Junior Hunters and on Vertige de Vigneul in the Medium Junior Jumpers.

We are thankful to have had such a strong outing to wrap up our summer showing and are looking forward to an exciting fall season!

An amazing day for Elianna Kirson and Commentator! This pair was Reserve Champion in the $10,000 Hermés Equitation Championship with a first round score of 84 and a second round score of 88! We are unbelievably proud of these two and thankful for our entire team for making this possible.

Our riders had a fun two weeks back up in Traverse City! Some highlights these past weeks include:

🏅Elianna Kirson and Ilyana had two beautiful rounds to earn 12th place in the $25,000 Platinum Performance USHJA International Hunter Derby.
🏆 Talia Kirson and Dundee were excellent, winning both over fences in the 15-17 Age Equitation and getting third in the flat to earn Champion.
🥇Sasha Kassel and Beckham were great over fences and on the flat in the 15-17 Children’s Hunters, winning the NAL/WIHS Children’s Hunter Classic.
🏅Alexa Anastasio and Fedor picked up top ribbons in the 3’3” Large Junior Hunters, including a win in the hack and second over fences.
🏅Samantha Ramsay and Albfuerhen’s Secret jumped great rounds in the 7-Year Old Young Jumper Division.
🏅Sophie Kassel had some very fast rounds in the children’s jumpers on Rincoola Spice and Performance EP, picking up good ribbons throughout the two weeks.

A big thanks to our phenomenal team of trainers, grooms, and parents for making shows like this happen!

Congratulations to our riders who qualified for the Dudley B. Smith Equitation Championship this year! Both advanced to the second round and earned top placings, with Elianna Kirson and Commentator securing a sixth place finish overall and Talia Kirson and Attendu de Lannois Z earning eleventh. A huge thank you to our team for making this possible!

Team KKLLC had a great Junior Hunter Finals/Gladstone Cup in Traverse City this past week! We are so proud of our horses and riders who competed and had some amazing results.

🥇Talia Kirson and Candor winning the 3’3” Small Junior Hunter 16-17 Handy Round, to finish 13th overall in the division.

🥇Alexa Anastasio and Fedor won the 3’3” Large Junior Hunter 15&U Under Saddle, and were second in the 3’3” Junior Hunter Under Saddle Work Off. The pair ended up 14th overall in their division.

🏅Elianna Kirson and Ilyana were great in the 3’6” Large Junior Hunter 16-17 Division, getting 15th place in the handy round to finish in 18th place overall.

🏅Alexa Anastasio and Legacy had lovely rounds in the 3’3” Small Junior Hunter 15&U Division, including a 5th place in the Handy to help them earn an 8th place finish overall.

🏅Elianna Kirson and Commentator were wonderful in the Gladstone Cup Equitation Championship, qualifying for the second round with a score of 85.3 in the first round.

A huge thank you to our amazing team of grooms, riders, parents, and trainers for an incredible outing!

A great first week for the KKLLC team in Traverse City, including many victories!

🥇Alexa Anastasio and Dante’s Inferno were first place in the USHJA Jump Seat Medal and the Hamel Foundation Medal.
🥇Elianna Kirson and Vantastico were first place in the WIHS Jumper Phase with a score of 89, finishing 3rd Overall in the WIHS Equitation, and 2nd in the ASPCA Maclay.
🥇Sophie Kassel and Rincoola Spice won the $2500 NAL/WIHS Children’s Jumper Classic to finish up champion in the Children’s Jumper Division.
🥇Sasha Kassel and Polly Pocket were first in the $500 Low Children’s Jumper Classic, to end their weekend with a Champion in the Low Children’s Jumper Division.
🥇Megan Carlotti and Golden Boy were second in the Pre- Child/Adult Jumper Classic, and were champion in the Pre- Child/Adult Jumper Division
🥇Talia Kirson and Carice finished second in the $2500 NAL/WIHS Children’s Jumper Classic to end up reserve champion in the Children’s Jumper Division.

A great second week showing at Lamplight! Our riders and horses were all fantastic this week. Some team highlights consist of:

✨Megan Carlotti ribboning on Golden Boy in the Puddle Jumpers, including a second place finish and sixth in the classic.
✨Samantha Ramsay put in great rides on Albfuehrens Secret, winning the 1.30m Open Jumpers on Friday.
✨Talia Kirson earning top ribbons in the USEF Medal, ASPCA Maclay, and USHJA Jump Seat Medal, as well as champion in the 3’3” Small Junior Hunters on Candor. Talia also finished fourth and eighth in the High Child/Adult Jumper Classic on Elselina and Carice.
✨Alexa Anastasio was champion section B. of the 3’3” Large Junior Hunters on Fedor, winning over fences rounds and getting fourth in the classic. Alexa also earned second in both the USHJA Jump Seat Medal and the NHS Medal, as well as making her debut in the 3’6” equitation, finishing seventh in the USEF Medal.
✨Sophie Kassel had great rounds in the High Child/Adult Jumpers, placing throughout the week and finishing twelfth in the classic on Performance EP.
✨Elianna Kirson won the 2* USET, WIHS Jumper Phase, and was second in the WIHS Hunter Phase. Elianna also rode nicely on Vertige De Vigneul in the HITS 1.35m Jumper Classic, and placed third on Calicia La Silla Z in Saturday’s 1.20m Low Jr./Am. class.
✨Sasha Kassel had beautiful rounds in the Older Children’s Hunters and THIS Medal, placing second in both the Combined Children’s Hunter Classic and the equitation medal. Sasha also earned second in the speed Low Child/Adult class and finished seventh in the classic.

A great job to our riders and horses these past two weeks, and a large thank you to our entire team for a great show! We are excited to have a few nice weeks at home before heading to Traverse City in June!
