Methuen Senior defeated a good Lowell team tonight 8-4 at Alumni Stadium to start 5-0 on the season. Jake Carr and Aiden Pimental scattered 8 hits on the mound for the win. Alex Santiago led with 2 hits and a couple nice defensive plays. J.J. Welsh added 2 hits and 2 RBI, Dylan Conway chipped in with 2 hits as well. Bryan Murray was outstanding behind the plate and Lucas Silva made the play of the game with a long running catch in foul right.
Down 4-0 in the 3rd inning, Methuen came back with 5 in the 5th to take a lead they wouldn’t give up.
Senior team plays again Thursday vs. Chelmsford at Ayotte Field @ 6:00.
Junior team is back in action Wednesday at Vets vs. Lowell @ 7:00

Methuen Senior stayed unbeaten with a 12-5 victory over Haverhill.
Jayvien DeLeon continued bashing with a 3 run homer (3rd for the season) and 3 runs scored. Jake Carr was 3/4 and J.J. Welsh had 2 RBI. The trio of Aiden Pimental, Jake Carr and J.J. Welsh shut down the Haverhill offense for the 3-0 Srs.

Big Bounce Back game for the Methuen Juniors. They won 10-3 against Newburyport. Strong 5 inning outing on the hill by Blake Shaheen. Perez came in to close the door in the 6th and 7th. Offense was lead by hits Clement(2), Apperti (2), Shaheen(2), Greenwood, Kneeland(on base all 4 at bats) Clement with a couple of web gems at SS.

Both teams are back at it Monday. Sr. is Home vs. Beverly @ 7:00
Jr. is at Swampscott @ 7:00

Tough Loss to Georgetown 8-5 for the Juniors last night. Came up a little short. Strong outing on the mound by Costa and Maroon. Offense lead by hits Shaheen(2), Clement (2), Greenwood(2), Apperti, Kneeland. Now 1-1 on the season.
Methuen Spring Awards Night is tonight so both teams are off.

Tomorrow night, Senior team travels to Pentucket to play Haverhill at 6:00 and the Juniors are home vs. Newburyport at Vets @ 7.

Methuen Sr. beat Newburyport 6-4 Tuesday night. Logan Baez and Nolan Torpey combined to give up 4 hits with 11 Ks.
Jayvien DeLeon blasted another 2 run homer. Methuen had 7 hits with J.J. Welsh leading with 2 again. Methuen is now 2-0

Methuen Jr. opened their season with a 14-4 win over N.Andover.
Shaheen, Clement, Medina and Maroon combined for the win on the mound.
Shaheen, Perez, Costa, Mendez and Kneeland had 2 hits each to lead Methuen.
Juniors play tomorrow night at home vs Georgetown at 7:00 at Veterans Park.
Both teams play on Friday 6/12

Nice start to the season for the Methuen Senior team with a win vs. Ipswich 10-0. Jake Carr pitched 5 scoreless giving up 4 hits with 8 K’s and no walks and Aiden Clement finished the last 2 innings. Aiden Pimental led the offense going 3-4 in the lead off spot. Jayvien DeLeon blasted a 2 run homer and Nicky Brady, J.J. Welsh and Lucas Silva added 2 hits each.
Methuen is home at MHS tonight (Tuesday) at 7:00 vs. Newburyport.

Practice & uniforms Friday, June 5 at MHS @ 6:00. Be there early. Methuen High has graduation so parking is a problem .
First game is Monday at Ipswich 6:00 PM

Registration for 2026 Methuen American Legion Baseball will be Thursday night at Dunkin Donuts on Pelham St. Methuen at 7:00.
This is for both Senior and Junior aged players.
* Bring *
* Player form ( Will have those if you
didn’t get one) Both sides filled out and doesn’t need to be notarized.
* Form 77 ( will have those as well for players that don’t attend MHS)
* Birth Certificate or copy of your Drivers License
* Check for $275 made out to Chris Cyr or cash.

** If players are under 18, a parent or guardian needs to sign forms with the players
