I’m never going to outspend the big golf brands.

I’m one guy. I pack the orders. I answer the emails. I shoot the videos. I do basically all of it.

So if we’re going to compete, the hat has to actually be really good.

That’s what I’ve tried to build.

Hidden magnetic brim so you can get rid of the clip. Super thick sweatband that soaks up a ton of sweat. Water-repellent exterior. A fit that isn’t too tall or too shallow and actually works for golfers.

I can’t win by spending more money than everybody else.

I can try to make a better hat.

Reviews like this are exactly why I wanted to make this hat in the first place.

John said he normally ruins hats after a couple weeks because he sweats so much. Salt stains everywhere.

He bought two of ours assuming he’d probably ruin one pretty quickly.

Instead, after wearing both a bunch, he said they still look brand new.

“This is my brand now.”

That’s a pretty awesome thing to read.

The thick double-layer sweatband and interior lining are there for a reason. They’re meant to manage the sweat before it ends up showing through the outside of the hat.

I can talk about it all day, but hearing it from someone who actually bought the hat and put it through the test means a lot more.

This is a pretty good way to explain what we mean by sweat-resistant.

Michael said his hat was wet when he finished, but it dried out without showing any signs of staining.

You’re still going to sweat. Your hat can still get wet. We’re not pretending otherwise.

The goal is to help it handle that sweat better, which is why the double-layer sweatband and interior lining matter so much.

Big one today.

Our first U.S. patent was officially granted for our magnetic hat brim design.

We filed this thing back in February 2025. At the time, I really had no idea how long the process would take or where it would end up.

More than a year and a half later, we finally get to say patented instead of patent pending.

That’s a pretty cool thing to be able to say about a golf hat.

I’ve put everything I have into building Kabra, so this one means a lot to me.

And if you’ve bought a hat, told somebody about us, posted about us, left a review, or just followed along while I try to figure this whole thing out... thank you. Seriously.

We’ve still got a long way to go and a lot more stuff we want to build.

But today, I’m just really excited about this one.

First patent. Hopefully not the last.

I’ve talked about this a lot, but this is honestly one of the biggest reasons I started Kabra.

I live in Texas (we just set the September record for days over 100 degrees). I sweat a lot. And I was tired of ruining golf hats after a few hot rounds.

So when I started working on the Iron Goat, sweat protection was one of the first things I cared about.

Really thick double-layer sweatband. Moisture-wicking lining on the inside. Water-repellent treatment on the outside.

The goal was pretty simple: give the sweat somewhere to go before it ends up showing through the front of your hat.

Then, because it’s a golf hat, we built the magnetic brim into it too.

If sweat stains keep killing your golf hats, this is exactly why we made ours.

I talk about the magnets a lot, but don’t overlook the sweatband.

It’s one of those things that’s hard to show in a photo. You really notice it when you put the hat on.

We use a comfortable double-layer sweatband with a moisture-wicking lining to help manage sweat during a round. We spent a lot of time getting that part right.

Bob called it the “Best sweatband I've come across.”

I’m obviously biased, so I’ll let Bob take this one.

Sweat stains are one of the main reasons I started messing with golf hats in the first place.

I was tired of wearing a hat a few times in the Texas heat and having it look ruined.

So we started with the inside.

Thick double-layer sweatband. Moisture-wicking lining. Water-repellent exterior.

That combination is what helps keep sweat from bleeding through and showing all over the outside of the hat.

And the best part is, customers are actually seeing it work.

100° heat. Zero sweat stains.

That’s the whole point.

I’ve been buying a bunch of the golf hats we get compared to.

Alter Ego. Branded Bills. Titleist. Melin.

Everybody does something a little different.

But I still haven’t found one that puts everything together the way ours does.

And I’ll keep saying it…

Nobody is touching our sweatband.

Obviously I’m biased 😂
