Age Divisions:
🌵 Open
🌵 Youth: 17 years of age and under as of January 1 of the competition year
🌵 Senior: 45 years of age and over as of the date of the show
🌵 Peewee: 10 years of age and under as of January 1 of the competition year
🌵 Novice: Rider or Horse under $500 winnings as of race entry date

Hey everyone I was struggling with Saddlebook. But I should have it fixed for the most part! Please enter up I’m so excited to be having some races this year!

Good morning! Here are our dates! June 6, July 11 and July 25. The races will start @ 2. Time onlies start @ 11. Entries will be through saddlebook, under Shady Spot Arena! Please let me know if something doesn’t look right on saddlebook, I’m still trying to figure it out!

Update! Thank you all for some lovely eye opening conversation this morning. I enjoyed all the input! Stay tuned! Wheels are in motion 🙂

I’m throwing a line out here lol… I have friends/fellow producers who, as well as ourselves, are wanting to put on some races but are not wanting to over crowd an already saturated market (how exciting for us to have so many choices) or step on toes. However, our calendars are a bit limited in places too.

What is your opinion? Many races in a day or week/weekend to go to or ____?

In speaking for my events, we stir clear of races dates booked in our back yard and in general always work with anyone who would like to attend multiple races the same day.

On of my concerns is much like any other sport, too many things around the same time frame and you run the risk of diluting the event attendance/success in general and they are not cheap to produce lol.

Obviously this is for smaller jackpots.
