We’re spending plenty of time behind the glass, so here’s a closer look at the Swarovski optics and Tricer setup we brought along for the hunt.

Part of bringing you along is showing you the equipment we’re using out here—and how it all comes together in the field.

What’s your go-to glassing setup? Drop it in the comments. 👇

WE DON’T GUESS. WE VERIFY. 🎯
Part 3 of 3 — The Work Behind Accuracy

There’s a big difference between a r***e that’s been properly assembled and a r***e that’s been proven to perform.

At Precision Hunting Supply, we believe both are equally important.

Throughout this series, we’ve talked about the little things that contribute to accuracy—proper scope alignment, correct torque specifications, and paying attention to the details that are often overlooked.

But there’s one more critical step.

Verification.

We can carefully mount and level a scope, check every mechanical detail, and calculate a ballistic solution. But until that r***e has been tested at the range, we’re still working with expectations rather than actual results.

That’s why range testing is such an important part of our ACCURIZER process.

We don’t simply sight in a r***e at 100 yards, print a ballistic chart, and call it finished.

We take the r***e to the range, evaluate its performance, verify its ballistic data at distance, and make adjustments where necessary.

Because what a ballistic calculator predicts and what a r***e actually does aren’t always exactly the same.

And when we’re building a custom yardage turret, we want that turret based on verified performance—not assumptions.

That’s the difference between having confidence in your equipment and simply hoping everything is right.

PRECISION ISN’T ONE THING.

It’s the cumulative result of proper equipment, careful workmanship, attention to detail, and real-world verification.

That’s what our ACCURIZER service is all about.

Your r***e. Our expertise. Confidence at Distance.

If you’ve been wondering what your r***e is truly capable of, we’d welcome the opportunity to show you.

“You guys take the guesswork out of the shot—and the hunting experience to another level.”

Messages like this make our day. 👊

A customer picked up a 7 PRC we set up, and his nephew took it on his Idaho elk hunt—bringing home this beautiful bull at 475 yards.

We put a lot of work into making our r***e systems straightforward to use. Seeing that work become part of a successful hunt is the best part of what we do.

Congratulations to the hunter, and thanks for trusting PHS and sharing the experience!

The first time you try a shooting position shouldn’t be when there’s a buck or bull in front of you.

Cole, Brett and Paul walk through prone, seated, and standing setups, showing how a few simple adjustments can make a big difference in stability.

From the lightweight Phoenix and PHS-logoed shooting bags we carry to tripod placement and standing posture, it’s all about building a comfortable, steady position. Watch for a couple clever ways to support the back of the r***e using gear you may already have—including a spotting scope setup and a Tricer head.

Brett’s advice? Practice. Get your gear out, try these positions, and figure out what works for you before the hunt.

Which position gives you the most trouble—prone, seated, or standing?

The truck can wait for a wash. It’s opening day. 👊

We’ve spent the last few days looking over country and turning up deer. Now it’s time to see what the hunt brings.

Thanks for following along with us here on the Kaibab. We’ll keep the updates coming and hopefully have a good story or two to share.

Good luck to everyone carrying a tag this morning. Let’s go hunting!

Alright guys, last day of scouting. Opening morning’s tomorrow. Got the A spot picked out and ready to go. Spent today checking some Plan B and Plan C country. It’s been a wet week with all the storms, but we’re having a good time up here and feeling pretty optimistic about tomorrow. Stick around and wish us luck. Good luck to everyone with a tag tomorrow! 💪🎯

Hunting Suppressed—Are You Making the Switch?

A little field time with the suppressed hunting setup. Nothing beats getting behind the r***e and seeing how it shoots before the hunt.

Are you already hunting with a suppressor, considering one, or sticking with your current setup? Let us know—and tell us which brand you’re running. 👇

“It was free mounting with the scope.” 😬

Sometimes that’s where the story starts… and our work begins. 😂

Just a little shop humor—but your scope mounting deserves as much attention as the r***e and optic you picked.

If your setup has you scratching your head, bring it by Precision Hunting Supply. We’ll help you get it sorted.

Anybody have a scope-mounting horror story? Let’s hear it. 👇
