Focus Team made a great run on her 2nd qualifier- in about 3 hours we will find out if it was enough. Only 35 more kids to go.....

Day one qualifiers- Lilly had a little trouble with the slopers on the top, but still sitting in the top 20.
She has a 2nd qualifier tomorrow and is looking to improve her standing, stay top 20 and climb on Saturday in semi finals.

Great day one at USAClimbing Divisionals. Abby did amazing on her 1st climb, but a tricky last section kept her from making it- and her 2nd route was some of the meanest slopers you could give to the 11under category.
Lilly had an unfortunate foot slip on her 1st route, but redeemed herself as the only Female C to finish the 2nd route.
Abby finished in 15th at her 1st Divisionals- her big sister Lilly, sits in 3rd place going into finals tomorrow.

Youth Divisionals are underway for the Focus Team. Abby and Lilly are checking out their 2nd qualifier during preview.

Another fantastic day on the rock the youth team.
We checked out The Pond, which has some great moderate routes, as well as some great harder test pieces.
finally finished Desert Devil, was on rock for the 1st time EVER, did not pump off Pocket Party, made great progress on Desert Devil, and cruised up the classics.

Special congrats to Lilly and Dylan advancing to semi-finals tomorrow.

ABS Regionals were a success for our team. 10 out of 11 kids qualified for ABS Divisonals in Tucson, Jan 09-10.

And that's a wrap. Coach Jack here. It's been a great season and I've had the privilege of working with the amazing Mary Fox for the past few years. Watching her become the passionate driven climber she has matured into has made me so proud. Mary took 24th in sport and 12th in speed this year, with a personal record on the speed wall of 14.71'. Go Mary!
