This week we said goodbye to one of our best, Rem. She was the best girl and an amazing duck dog. We shared a lot of great memories with her. It broke our hearts to let her go, but unfortunately all the best things must return to where they came from🪽She was always ready for a truck ride or a boat ride. She could blind retrieve and bring in two ducks at one time. She was a beast on the water. She taught all she knows. She was a mom to Jewel and like one to Lucy. The last few years, she didn’t get to see much hunting time. She still tried to go wherever she could. She would bark and bark anytime the boys went dove hunting. Her last adventure was a long stroll around the neighborhood, where she ended up with the UPS man and at the local vets office. We knew it was time. We are thankful for all the days with her❤️

Beautiful day. Ducks are happy it’s not hunting season!

2025-2026 Duck Season is all wrapped up. We had some highs and lows. The weather threw us for a loop and snow showed up right as the season closed. Good people kept us going. We are thankful for the business that we have and continue to grow. So many hunters have kept coming back, year after year. We thank you! If you were new to us, we thank you! We hope all of y’all keep coming back.

Our guides pushed through the grind and we cannot be more proud of them.

and Jewel held their own out there on open water.

At the end of this season, we are still at a loss for our mentor George Beckwith. We can only imagine what he would have had to say about this season, the weather and the shenanigans. Things just aren’t the same.
