Now Open!

East Rim Drive is now fully open to all traffic, as the section slated for 2023 rehabilitation has been completed. The road up to Cloudcap Overlook is now open as well, but that section will retain a gravel surface until next year.

All of Rim Drive will remain open until November 1st, unless there is significant snowfall before that date.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding as we make our way towards a smoother, more stable Rim Road.

Now Open!

East Rim Drive is now fully open to all traffic, as the section slated for 2023 rehabilitation has been completed. The road up to Cloudcap Overlook is now open as well, but that section will retain a gravel surface until next year.
