Congratulations to our Idaho ODP players selected for the 2026 USYS ODP Interregional Boys Camp in Orlando, Florida, January 14–18! ❤️💙

Players from across the country will come together as regional teams compete and continue their pursuit of opportunities at the highest levels of the ODP pathway.

A new chapter for soccer in Idaho.

Idaho Youth Soccer Association joins State Associations across the country in supporting a historic step to bring US Youth Soccer and U.S. Soccer closer together.

The two-year integration process begins September 1, creating new opportunities for greater alignment, resources, investment, and support for soccer at the local level.

For IYSA, the future starts locally. We’re excited to continue building on the strong foundation of our clubs and communities while working toward new opportunities for players, coaches, referees, and families across Idaho.

A new chapter. A new challenge. A new pathway.

As Idaho Slammers FC steps into the inaugural National 1 League season, the club is bringing its players and families into a new level of regional competition.

Re-established in 2026 following its time as Idaho Juniors FC, the Eagle-Meridian based club is excited to compete against regional opponents while creating more opportunities for players to challenge themselves, grow, and build lasting experiences through the game.

Executive Director Frank Aguirre shared what N1 means to the club:

“The inaugural N1 season is a chance to build something special together, not just through the games, but through the relationships, experiences, and development that come with being part of N1.”

We’re proud to welcome Idaho Slammers FC as one of the founding clubs helping shape the future of the National 1 League.

The journey begins this weekend.

The countdown to the inaugural National 1 League season continues.

Today, we’re highlighting Idaho Inferno Soccer Club and Director of Coaching Jason Vittrup, who sees N1 as an opportunity to bring clubs together, raise the level of play, and create new possibilities for players across Idaho.

“It gives me hope we can continue to find solutions to increase the level of play in a country with so much potential.”

As one of our founding clubs, Idaho Inferno is helping shape what the National 1 League can become for the next generation of players.

The countdown is on. One League. One Pathway. ⚽️

As we build toward the inaugural National 1 League season, we’re highlighting the voices of our founding clubs and what N1 means for their players and communities.

First up: City SC East Idaho and Club President Elias Trejo.

For City SC East Idaho, joining N1 is about opening doors for players to compete at a higher level, connecting East Idaho talent to opportunities across the country, and showcasing what the region has to offer.

The inaugural N1 season kicks off this weekend at Old Butte Soccer Complex in Idaho Falls.

We’re excited to see these founding clubs take the field and begin building something special together.

Supplemental Tryouts are Saturday, August 15 at Simplot Sports Complex in Boise.

Thank you to the players, families, coaches, and communities who have made this year’s tryout process a tremendous success. We’re excited to close out the tryout window and look ahead to ODP training beginning in October and a full slate of events from November through March.

600+ players will take part as regional teams compete, and players continue their pursuit of national-team selections to represent the overseas.

The wait is over. ⚽⌛

The inaugural National 1 League season officially begins August 28-30 as Idaho and Montana's founding clubs take the field for the league's first-ever event.

Representing the U13 and U14 Boys and Girls divisions, these clubs are helping launch a new era of regional competition and player development across the Northwest.

Join the Conversation. Shape the Future of Grassroots Soccer. ⚽🌎

Registration is now open for the 2026 US Youth Soccer Grassroots Symposium & Leadership Weekend, taking place August 27-29 in Dallas, Texas.

Centered around the theme "Moving Legacy Forward," the Symposium will bring together more than 400 leaders from across the soccer community to explore how we can build on the momentum of the FIFA World Cup and continue growing the game for future generations. Topics include coaching education, player development, leadership, community impact, innovation, and expanding access to soccer.

Whether you're a coach, club leader, administrator, referee, or advocate for the game, this is an opportunity to learn, collaborate, and help shape the future of grassroots soccer.
