Today, we raced a non-points race at Silver City. With a lower car count than usual, we decided to run only two of our cars, leaving the Light 160 at home.

First up was the Senior Animal Heat. Peter started in the fourth position, quickly charged to the front, and never looked back—taking the win. The Light World Formula Heat was unfortunately canceled due to a lack of cars.

In the Senior Animal A Main, Peter started on the pole and led all 30 laps for a checkered flag victory. For the Light World Formula A Main, Peter was the only driver, which made for an easy win—but still a great chance for extra laps and experience.

Huge thanks to Johnny Morgillo and the R1QMAA Driver Development Program for the super fast Senior Animal—this car was hooked up today!

And as always, thank you to our incredible sponsors for believing in Peter and helping make his racing dreams come true. 🏁💙

Last weekend, Peter sleighed the track at Silver City for the festive Christmas in July! Peter gave it everything he had with a heart full of holiday cheer.

🎅 Senior Animal Heat was first on the list — Peter landed a solid 4th place, even though he quickly noticed something was off. As soon as he hopped out of the car, he reported a throttle issue that needed “Santa’s Workshop” during the intermission.

🦌 Next up was Light 160 Heat. Just one lap in, another racer spun out like a rogue reindeer, and Peter’s car took a hard knock. Despite the damage, he held on tight and powered through to finish 3rd.

🎁 The final heat race was Light World Formula, and with just two cars on the track, it was a straight-up drag race on a snowy Christmas morning. Peter claimed the win and finished first, full of holiday hustle!

There was no invert for today’s features, so Peter lined up exactly where he earned.

🎄 Senior Animal A Main: Starting 4th with a now-fixed throttle (thank you, Daddy Pit Elf!), Peter drove smart and smooth, wrapping it up with a 3rd place finish and a grin bigger than Santa's.

🎄 Light 160 A Main: This race was more tangled than a string of Christmas lights, yellow flags galore! But Peter stayed out of all of the wrecks and focused through the chaos. Earning another 3rd place finish.

🎄 Light World Formula A Main: Peter started on the pole and battled back and forth with the other driver like a snowball fight on turbo mode. After a spirited exchange of leads, he pulled ahead and crossed the finish line FIRST — the perfect bow on top of a great day!

Way to go, Peter — you’re on the Nice List for sure! 🎅🏆🎄

Thank you to Johnny Morgillo and thR1QMAA Driver Development Program for the speedy Senior Animal and Light 160!

A very special to our 2025 sponsors!

Firecracker 40 at Little T Speedway, Thompson, CT:

What a weekend! Peter took on the Firecracker 40 at Little T Speedway—a two-day event filled with heat, racing, friends, ice cream, and lots of fishing.

In the Senior Animal heat, Peter started on pole and came out on top after a fierce back-and-forth battle. Even with the win, we made a small gear change overnight, hoping to squeeze out a bit more speed for the A Main.

In the Light World Formula heat, Peter started 2nd and finished 4th, holding his own in a competitive heat.

The invert was pulled by the drivers with the most passing points—and both races ended up with an invert of 1, putting Peter on pole for Junior Animal A Main.

This 40-lap feature was wild—lead changes, hard racing, and plenty of suspense. But when the checkered flag waved, Peter crossed the line first, earning his first-ever Senior Animal feature win! He stayed focused and didn’t let the pressure shake him, even with tough competition on his bumper.

In the final race of the day, Light World Formula A main, Peter started fourth and finished fourth. While he didn’t make the podium, he drove smart, made some great passes, and continues to grow stronger in this challenging new division.

Special thanks to Johnny Morgillo and the R1QMAA Driver Development Program for the rocket-fast Senior Animal—it was on fire all weekend!

Thank you to Shawn Thibeault and Nichole Thibeault for donating Logan’s left side tires for this race!

And as always, a huge thank you to our incredible sponsors. This dream wouldn’t be possible without your support!!

Over the weekend, Peter competed in a points race at Silver City. His standout moment was the heat race win in his Senior Animal. Peter and another driver had us all on our toes as they battled it out until the very end.

While he faced challenges finding speed in his other races, Peter held his own in a highly competitive field stacked with impressive drivers.

Although he did not reach the podium this week, Peter made some bold and impressive moves, and continued to gain valuable experience.

Next up is race # 2 in the Connecticut Cup race at Little T Speedway!

Thank you to Johnny Morgillo and the R1QMAA Driver Development Program for the Senior Animal and Light 160!!

Sending a very special thank you to our amazing sponsors. Without your support, we wouldnt be racing!

Saturday was an exciting day at Silver City as Peter took on a full day of racing in the Senior Division!!! This was the very first race day without rain this year!

He had a tough start to the day with a challenging pill draw, starting 6th in both his Senior Animal and Light World Formula heat races. But Peter made the most of it with excellent starts and solid driving, finishing 3rd in both heats!

Then came the Light 160 heat race—Peter started on the pole and never looked back! He led from green to checkered to win his first-ever Senior Division heat race!

For the A mains, first up was Senior Animal. Peter started 5th in a caution-filled race. Despite all the chaos, Peter stayed clean and drove smart to finish 3rd, earning his first podium in the Senior Division!

In Light 160, Peter was running strong until a wreck right in front of him caused unavoidable contact. His car took major damage (front axle, shock, and more), forcing him out of the race.

For Light World Formula, with little time to regroup after the 160 wreck, Peter jumped into this A-main starting 5th again. He looked fast from the start and battled his way to another 3rd place finish, calling this his favorite race of the day!

Huge thanks to our amazing sponsors for making this possible.

And a big shoutout to Johnny Morgillo and R1QMAA Driver Development Program for the lightning-fast Senior Animal and Light 160 cars!

Last weekend, Peter participated in the Lou Sherman Memorial state race at Silver City Quarter Midget Club. This marked the first ever states race collaboration between Silver City and Little T Quarter Midget track in Thompson, Connecticut. Saturday kicked off with time trials and lower mains. Peter only raced the Light World Formula and qualified 4th.

On Sunday, we had A mains. While we didn’t finish where we had hoped, Peter continues to make progress with his passing and confidence on the track. When he wasn’t behind the wheel, Peter was trackside cheering on his friends and congratulating fellow racers.

A special thank you to all of our amazing sponsors for your continued support!

Over the weekend, Peter raced in Points Race #2, taking the track in his Senior Animal, Light 160, and Light World Formula cars. It was a tough day right from the start, with difficult pill draws and even more challenging race starts. As a result, his heat race finishes weren’t what he had hoped for, but he stayed focused and kept pushing forward.

The Senior Animal A Main proved to be difficult. Despite all the practice sessions leading up to race day, the car was off, making it a frustrating race for Peter. In the Light 160 A Main, there were multiple wrecks in the race, but Peter avoided them all and was able to bring home a 6th-place finish.

Unfortunately, rain rolled in and cut the day short. The remaining Light World Formula race will be completed on the scheduled rain date in June.

Thank you so much to Johnny Morgillo and the R1QMAA Driver Development Program for our fast 160!

Over the weekend, Peter had his first race of the season at Silver City Quarter Midget track in Meriden, CT. He was able to race his Senior Animal, Light 160, and Light World Formula heats before the skies opened up - and when the rain came, it POURED!!

Although the weather cut the day short, the fun didn’t stop there. Peter and his racing buddies made the most of it, splashing and playing in the rain, turning the stormy afternoon into a memory they won’t soon forget.

This race will be made up in June, and we are already looking forward to getting back out on the track.

A big shout out to Johnny Morgillo and R1QMAA Driver Development Program for our fast 160!
