Hello folks! We’ve owed everyone an update on where we are so here’s the good, bad, and ugly. First we are so grateful to our current sponsors for their help, we have gotten some needed tools and supplies for our team, and been able to do some maintenance on our cars to be ready for our triumphant-ish return.

Being raw and real, this year has been one of the most challenging for our family. Financially, emotionally, logistically. Our middle kiddo has been through the ringer with his lingering medical issues and then a PTSD diagnosis from his medical trauma, which were compounded by issues being handled poorly at school. As a result, he’s not been in school since October and I’ve been unable to work since then, making money tight, and logistics even more challenging as he has a ton of specialists and those cost money to get to. Didn’t help our family/tow vehicle broke down last month, but is functional now and we can keep on keeping on.

We are finally seeing the light at the end of that tunnel and found a school that can provide trauma support, which means I can return to work soon!

Right now Jayce’s car needs a front right axle before it’s drivable, and we need help finding that (call in to anyone that would know where to find a front right axle for a stinger!) and we are hoping to use new sponsor funds to purchase that.

Any guidance, pointers, contacts, etc are welcome and appreciated to get us back to the track! Asking for help is not my strong suit but the boys deserve to be at the track and we need help getting there. Thank you and we can’t wait to see you soon!

Strep and broken arms struck our family this week, so our season start is postponed hopefully for the last time!

Excited to get our cars race ready with DDP this week, get our camper down to the track, and brush off the dust! Good luck today Silver City Quarter Midget Track drivers!
