We had an above-par day at Sight for All United’s 2nd Annual Low Vision Golf Clinic on Monday!⛳️

Athletes spent the day sharpening their skills in driving, chipping, and putting while enjoying the connections and camaraderie that make this event so special. We’re grateful for our partnership with SFAU and Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries and for their dedication to providing inclusive opportunities in sports and recreation.

🌟 Events like these are a reminder of how sports bring people together and we’re incredibly proud to be a part of it. Thank you to everyone who made the day one-of-a-kind!

In May, Katie Smith represented Envision Blind Sports at the 2026 Family University Conference hosted by Ohio Statewide Services and Outreach. She shared Envision’s mission, highlighted opportunities available to individuals who are blind or visually impaired, and demonstrated how sports and recreation can be adapted to make physical activities more accessible.

We’re grateful for opportunities like this to connect with families, build awareness, and help more individuals discover the life-changing impact of sports and recreation.

🎾🚲 We had a LOVEly time celebrating National Tennis Month through our Tennis and Outdoor Recreation Event with the Association for Coaching Excellence (ACE) and Blind Outdoor Leisure Development (B.O.L.D) programs. It was a fun mix of blind tennis, tandem biking around North Park, and playing yard games — a little something for everyone.

A shoutout to Dana Costa and her team from ACE for providing top tier tennis instruction and to the B.O.L.D team for bringing tandems, recruiting biking captains, and bringing the energy! Thank you🩵👏🏼

Last month, we presented at both the Pennsylvania-Delaware AER and the AER of Ohio (AERO) Conference. These events bring together professionals dedicated to supporting individuals who are blind or visually impaired and we were proud to share more about the opportunities and resources that Envision provides.

We’re always grateful for the chance to connect with vision specialists, educators, therapists, and other professionals who work hard to make opportunities more accessible for the blind and visually impaired community!

Race Roster donations have officially closed and while we may not have reached our final goal, this was our most successful marathon fundraiser yet!🎉

We’re incredibly thankful to every person who donated, shared our mission, cheered on our runners, and ran for a reason. The dedication from our Envision team and supporters continues to make a meaningful impact on our athletes and our community.
