Hello all!
Hope your summer was good. Fall is here and lots coming up around Mercer this season.

This month's membership meeting is Monday, September 14, 2026, 6pm at the Range Clubhouse.

A special thanks to White Tails Unlimited, the Great Northern Hotel, and Eric Behnke for a very fine dinner event. All had a good time and it was well attended. Also, thanks go out to the volunteers that helped with the event. This banquet provides a generous amount of funding for our club each year, and is greatly appreciated.
We encourage all our members to support WTU and the Great Northern Hotel, bar, and restaurant.

So far, our Monday trap league has been going smoothly. We hope to expand more teams next season. See your favorite pub, hotel, bar, or retail outlet about joining their trap team.

This fall we look forward to Sight In Day Friday, November 20. There is no better event to attend/participate in for hunters, archers, and marksman. Nowhere else can one take advantage of a marshalled range, professional help with your scopes fi****ms, use of spotting scopes, gunsmiths, professional armorers, and hunters, targets, and food and beverages - ALL FOR FREE!

From Pete, Hello all and hope your summer is going well.

This first week of August is a busy one. For those who take part in Loon Day, August 5, the NWWC will be hosting a booth. We will feature a 50/50 cash raffle, membership drive materials, and spreading the word about our club, the range, archery, league trap, and our next projects. Be sure to stop by and say hello.

Also, the following day Thursday, is our annual Fun Day Shoot starting at 11am to 3pm. Lunch on the grill and pot luck. Be sure to stop by. Its a lot of fun.
We do Annie Oakley, duals, and more games. If you haven't been out to the range for a while you can see our improvements.

So, Happy Loon Day and its great to be in the Great North Woods.

Hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable Independence Day weekend. The Mercer parade was a real hit, largest crowd I have ever seen here. Thank you Kevin for the UTV floats.

Our July meeting is Monday, July 13, 6pm, at the Range Club House. A couple good projects coming our way so please attend if you can.

Special note - WHITE TAILS UNLIMITED banquet is coming up Aug 18. at the Great Northern Hotel. This is a most important event that supports our club and the school trap team. Please attend if you can. Our club has a table of 8 so far. We can get another if there is interest. Tickets are $70 each, and are available on line at whitetailsunlimited web site. Or, contact me if you want a ticket at the NWWC table. [email protected]
