Hello Community! Unfortunately it looks like Mercer Island Badminton Club has lost its space to play. I know the members are scattered throughout the other venues to play. If you are new - I'd check out Bellevue Badminton Club or some of the surrounding community centers like Jefferson Community Center in Seattle. There other players can direct you to other places. Have fun! :)

Hello badminton friends! Just wanted to wish you a Happy Lunar New Year! May you and your loved ones have many laughs and great badminton games (may not be played with your loved ones :) ).

Chinese New Year is the grandest traditional festival with many legends, traditions, taboos and festival food. 2016 Lunar New Year will be on Feb. 8, 2016.

Hello friends!

Here a belated update from Gordon. Not sure if everyone is on his list. Sent 8/31/15 - should be getting a new one soon??

Go to Construction Updates on the left and select the photograph of the new elementary school. The large underground pipes for storing and slowly releasing rainwater are installed although not shown here - next time eh? The whole site has been extremely busy all Summer and it shows. None of the pictures shows the extent to which the building has progressed, although I expect them to be added by week's end. We're getting closer. Only about another 12 months to go at the outside, possibly MUCH less if they decide to allow the gym to be used before the main building is completed.

Wow! In a way, we are lucky that we didn't play badminton this Friday... could you even guess how hot the gym could be?? Any guesses?? :)
