Hi all! I've noticed some new faces here so I figured I'd say hello and share a bit about myself.
I've been teaching ISR for 4 years now and worked with kids as an artistic swim coach for many many years before that.
Once I had my own two kids I found the swim instructon that was available to not be very effective. I did some research and found out all about ISR. I knew I needed to get involved and bring these life savings skills to my community!

As we roll into the new year I've noticed many new faces in my followers list and I wanted to take the time to introduce myself!

I'm a Seattle native, married to my high school sweetheart for over 20 years and have two young kids.
I began swim team at 6 and at 9 found a true passion for Artistic Swimming. I swam into my early 20s and then began coaching with my former club.
I have my BA in Psychology. My early career was in the social work field and for a decade I was owner and head coach of Seattle Synchro. Needless to say, I have spent a significant portion of my life in the pool!
When my own children were struggling to make progress in traditional lessons, I went looking for ISR lessons and couldn't find anything! I decided I was ready for a career change and took the leap to get certified as an ISR Instructor. My kids were my first clients and it's been such a joy to see their love of the water blossom.
My daughter joined Seattle Synchro this fall and I've been such a proud momma!
Being an ISR Instructor has been an incredible journey. I've enjoyed new challenges and most of all the wonderful children and families I've met.
Outside of the pool, I enjoy cooking, boating, sunny weather, weight lifting and spending time with my friends and family.

The winter and spring are the perfect times to sign up for swim lessons! Your child can learn to swim and be safe around the water in just 6 weeks so that you can spend the summer enjoying your time at the lake or pool.

Registration is open for Fall Swim Lessons with Safe Swim Seattle!
Survival swim lessons will give your child vital skills to learn to be safe and independant in the water. Lessons are for children 6 months to 6 years (and above).
Lessons are daily, M-F for up to 10 min per day for about 6 weeks and they begin July 7th in Redmond.
Cost is $220 per week per child. Discounts for siblings, military and first responders as well as scholarships are available.
