To Our Grind Family,
It is with a heavy heart that I share some difficult news. After nearly 12 incredible years of serving the Mercedes community, The Grind will be closing its doors this month.
Over the past year, our lease payment increased significantly. We made every effort to adjust by reducing business expenses and improving our cash flow so we could continue serving our members. When our lease came up for renewal, we tried to negotiate terms that would allow us to remain in our current location. Unfortunately, we were unable to reach an agreement, and the property has now been leased to another tenant. We have been asked to vacate the building within the next couple weeks.
Like many of you, I hoped for a different outcome. I explored every option available, including relocating The Grind. However, the financial resources required to move and reopen in a new location are simply beyond what I can afford at this time.
Although this chapter is coming to an end, I don't want this message to be about disappointment. I want it to be about gratitude. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Thank you for trusting The Grind with your fitness journey. Thank you for every early morning workout, every encouraging conversation, every friendship that was built within these walls, and every moment you chose to be part of this family.
Many of you have been with us for years. I've watched members lose weight, gain confidence, overcome obstacles, celebrate victories, and support one another through life's challenges. The Grind has always been more than a gym-it has been a community. That community exists because of each and every one of you.
To everyone who has walked through our doors over the last 12 years, thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your life. It has truly been an honor.
While this is goodbye to The Grind as you know it, I sincerely hope the friendships, motivation, and healthy habits you've built here continue long after our doors close.
Please know this decision was not made lightly. If there had been a way to continue, I would have done everything possible to keep The Grind open. Closing is not what I wanted, but it is the most responsible decision under these circumstances.
From my family to yours, thank you for 12 unforgettable years. Your support, loyalty, and belief in The Grind have meant more than words can ever express.
