It is with sadness that one of our beloved coaches has passed way.

Coach Starkey was a tremendous help to this team. He would come in on his own time and help ANYBODY who walked in that room. He came to our competitions and did not hesitate to be there for our girls.

With that being said, practices are going to be on hold for the next couple of weeks. Our athletes, coaches, and families need time to heal. A notification will be sent about the resumption of practices.

For now, keep your heads up.

What a big day yesterday at the Elyria 16U/Junior qualifier and 14U and under States!!!

We had 3 girls compete and they showed up and showed out!

Congrats to:

Bella in 16U at 145lbs for placing 5th! She had a tough bracket but pushed hard. Even bigger congrats on competing in your first freestyle competition as well!

Rylee in 16U at 115lbs for placing 2nd! She also had a tough bracket and battled with intensity! Beating a HS state placer when still in 8th grade!

Aubrey in 10U at 62lbs for placing 3rd! For Aubrey, unfortunately her season ends shorter and wrestled her last freestyle competition (States). She wrestled hard and got some nice hot dogs and medals to show it off!

Bella and Rylee are ready for States in a couple of weeks to see if they can punch their ticket to Fargo!

Maddy Beaumier in Junior at 120lbs for placing 2nd! She’ll be ready to join Rylee and Bella at states in a couple of weekends to see if she can punch her ticket to Fargo!

Natalie Beaumier in 14U at 125lbs for placing 4th! She had to bumped up a weight class due to lack of girls but that did not stop her from going out and wrestling hard!

Rylee Ashba in 16U at 115lbs for placing 2nd! Her first freestyle competition and she came out ready to wrestle!

We are very excited to announce we will have Ohio's own, Lauren Louive in for a 3 day camp this summer!! Lauren is a 4x WCWA All American and the 2020 US Open Champion.

There will be 2 sessions each day. She will not only be going over wrestling technique, but will also cover mental performance and have a Q+A
