🐾 Coach Maddie Stayer was a 5 year collegiate volleyball player who finished her career at Eastern Michigan after graduating from Jacksonville State. Coach Maddie coaches club volleyball at RockCity, and brings setting and hitting experience to the program. She is looking forward to her first season as a Cougar!

🐾 Coach Alex Lanigan is a 2004 graduate of Lake Catholic High School, where she was a team captain and All-Ohio setter. With 15 years of coaching experience, she is passionate about developing athletes both on and off the court. As the daughter of Denny Shinhearl, Coach Alex is honored to continue his legacy within the Lake Catholic community while pursuing her Master’s in Sport and Performance Psychology this fall at West Virginia University.

LCVB is so excited to add our new coaching staff to the 2026 season! Their extensive volleyball backgrounds and knowledge of the game will only help our program to the next level. Please help us welcome Coach Maddie & Coach Alex! 👏🏼💚
