What an incredible last day together for this group! The tears and emotions at the end of our day were a true representation of doing things the right way. The bond that these girls have is undeniable and will last for years to come. If this 5 year journey wasn’t extremely meaningful there’s be no tears and hugs. But it was and the 5 year journey of developing these girls to become their best selves happened! They are ALL champions where it counts the most! Our games together may have ended but the relationships will not. Mission accomplished!

Can’t brag about the record this weekend, but these ladies embraced the challenge of playing up (18U) and competed like crazy at the Grind Showcase at FIRESTONE Stadium. Lost 2-1 in a tremendous ball game with some great pitching and defense on both sides! Iron sharpens iron and we got better this weekend!

This weekend (Jerry Myers Firefighters Memorial) was exactly what the girls asked for…high level competition and although the record was 1-3, these girls pitched well and played really good defense. The bats will come. Hats off to some great pitching we saw. Make adjustments and get better! Love this crew.
