I regretfully want to inform you Sensei Vecchio passed away on November 20, 2021. The Funeral service is at 1:00pm on Saturday, December 11th at our church, Chester Christian Center 11815 Chillicothe Rd. Chesterland, OH 44026. The viewing will start at 10am and will go until the time of service. Following service starting at 3:00pm everyone is welcome to enjoy a light luncheon at Jimmie’s favorite place, Silver Skillet located at 12650 Chillicothe Rd, Chesterland, OH 44026.

Praying for the families that lost their loved ones, and giving our gratitude and thanks to those First Responders who took the call, and gave of themselves, and risked their lives. 9/11 is and was a tragic event that brought millions of Americans together. America needs that togetherness now more than ever. The people of 9/11 are lost but never forgotten. We shall never forget 9/11.

Finally got our new Kanji and the new dojo is almost complete. New ac/heater was installed, new waterfall for relaxation is finished and last but not least the student lounge and reading room will be finished this weekend. Welcome to the New Vecchio Aikikai....
